New clients continue care with this provider

Hi there, I'm Lisa. Do you feel anxious often and feel like your fears are hindering you from your goals? Are your feelings of sadness keeping you from moving past hurts? Are you ready to take steps to regain your freedom from your feelings? I help individuals manage their anxious thoughts and feelings of sadness. Together, we can identify what's not working and deal with the root of these feelings. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, journaling, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. As a therapist, I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their feelings and experiences. I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult decision, and I respect the courage it takes to take the first step. Let me help you on this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session with me I will begin to build rapport and find out more about their reason for seeking counseling at this time in their life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have had experience working with teens, young adults, and families who have experienced domestic violence, trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety which has taught me the importance of creating a space where clients can feel heard and validated. I understand the complex emotions and challenges that can arise from these experiences and many others.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with women of different ages as they try to navigate depression, anxiety, coping with grief, trauma and changes in their relationships.
