Hi there, I'm Lisa. Do you feel like anxiety and/or depression has taken over your life? Is it affecting your relationship? Has your anxiety led to an increase of depression? Do you find it hard to set healthy boundaries for yourself with others and say the word "No"? Are you having a hard time after a relationship has ended? Are you in need of life skills to help you get out of the same repeated thought pattern. I am focused on helping individuals heal from past traumas/hurts, and develop healthy coping skills. The ultimate goal is to no longer allow the past experiences affect your current life.
The first session with me I will begin to build rapport and find out more about their reason for seeking counseling at this time in their life.
I have experience working with teens, young adults, and families who have experienced domestic violence, trauma, divorce, depression, and anxiety. I understand the complex emotions and challenges that can arise from these experiences and many others.
I work with women of different ages as they try to navigate depression, anxiety, coping with grief, divorce, and trauma.
CBT helps with reframing negative thoughts that often attribute to anxiety and depression.
CPT helps with unresolved childhood trauma that is currently affecting the client in their relationships and attachment with others.
