Overwhelmed? Trouble saying "no" to people? Do you sometimes feel like you're making decisions based on other people's opinions/wants/needs/expectations over your own? Are your feelings and needs getting neglected? Or maybe talking about feelings is just really difficult for you, as it is for most people. It's common to avoid communication all together because it just feels like conflict. I am an openly a queer person, running a private practice since 2021, but practicing therapy full-time since 2018. I focus on trauma work, anxiety, shame, identity exploration, and boundaries/setting limits! When I say trauma work, sometimes people always assume the most extreme - but with all clients I find it beneficial to reflect on impactful or very painful past experiences and how it shapes our relationships and present-day life. I can offer you a better understanding and education of your body's nervous system, because the mind and body are connected, and trauma is held within our bodies. My goal is to work with you on improving self-awareness, understanding your automatic reactions, and having direct coping tools based on your specific experiences and mental health symptoms, so you can enjoy the present and feel more free and in control. I’ll help you identify your unmet needs and your emotions, and practice better communication and conflict-resolution often, too. However as educational, direct, and action-oriented I try to be, I also work from a place of compassion. Therapy is very vulnerable! I am ultimately giving you the space and time to get any current worries off your mind, and I try to always work from a place of patience, empathy, and flexibility, too. I've been in the client's chair many times, and I know exactly how important it is to feel free to talk without being judged.

Nǐ hǎo / Hello! I am a licensed mental health therapist in Florida with over 20 years of experience helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, school-related stress, relationship issues, and major life challenges. Many of the people I support come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally drained, or unsure how to move forward. I believe therapy works best when goals are clear, practical, and measurable, so we can track progress in a meaningful way. I also believe humor can be a powerful part of healing, helping create a more relaxed and human space for growth. I believe strong therapy starts with listening, truly understanding who you are, what you have been through, and what matters most to you. I use evidence-based treatment to help clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship stress, school concerns, and emotional overwhelm. Together, we set goals that align with your values. In my leisure time I play music instruments, I enjoy cooking, Hotpot is my favorite food. My name is Nicole Nonclerc, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master's Level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Florida with 10+ years' experience in mental health and addiction treatment. I have worked with clients of all ages, from early childhood through elderly adults, and am comfortable treating a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. I have also helped clients who need assistance navigating difficult systems of care such as drug court, DCF agencies, and foster care. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Florida State University, and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I recently completed my PhD in Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University, as well. My counseling style tends to be solution-focused and interactive. I believe that, although a therapist does bring skills and techniques to the sessions, clients are still the experts of their own lives and solutions should fit within the client’s unique lifestyle, values, and views. My approach combines multiple therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, motivational enhancement, and humanistic approaches in order to create a unique plan of action for each client. I recognize that making the decision to pursue counseling as a method of making positive changes in your life is daunting, but if you are ready to improve your life, even if you’re not sure where to begin, then I am happy to support and encourage you along this journey! Please note, due to conflicts of interest, I will not treat anyone who is living in, has a civil or legal case in, or is associated in any way with Hillsborough County, Florida.

Hello and thank you for checking out my profile and considering me in your current journey. My name is Jeff Moyer, licensed mental health therapist. I understand that therapy can be intimating and so I applaud you for taking this step in looking at options for support. My goal is to help change the perception of therapy and help clients see it as a positive way to support mental health, and just another way of developing one's health, just like with our physical health. I want to guide clients in developing positive changes in their life, so they feel better and healthier, emotionally. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about finding possible alternatives to support change in the areas that may be causing problems in our life. Thank you again for looking into ways to be more emotionally healthy, and I am here to help if you decide you would like to get started.

I bring over 20 years of experience working with individuals across all ages—adults, young adults, teens, and children. Throughout my career, I’ve supported people navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, faith-related concerns, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, substance use, men’s issues, self-esteem struggles, decision-making difficulties, and grief and loss. My path into counseling began with a master’s degree in pastoral counseling. Over time, I felt called to serve a broader community, which led me to pursue a second master’s degree in counseling psychology. This training allows me to integrate both clinical expertise and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens when you feel genuinely heard, supported, and safe. My primary goal is to create a space where you can talk openly about the parts of your life that feel heavy, confusing, or painful—without judgment or pressure. My name is Corina Forte, and I am a bilingual mental health counselor providing therapy in both English and Spanish. For the past 15 years, I have supported adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, major life transitions, mood concerns, and the impact of serious illness. Many of the people I work with are capable, caring, and accustomed to holding everything together for others, yet feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of what they need. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, better understand the patterns shaping your emotions and relationships, and begin responding to life with greater clarity and intention. My approach is warm, collaborative, and honest. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely understood, while also offering thoughtful guidance and gentle challenge when it may help them move forward. I believe therapy should provide both deeper self-understanding and practical tools that can be applied in everyday life. I tailor my work to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, existential, Gestalt, mindfulness-based, and expressive approaches, depending on each client’s needs and goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate while also being direct when needed. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we'll explore both the practical challenges you're facing today and the deeper patterns that may be contributing to them. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), ACT, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for change, my goal is to help you build greater self-understanding, resilience, and confidence in your life.

I have been a mental health professional for over 2 decades. During that time, I have worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings. I accompany clients on their journey to healing, which includes identifying & removing barriers to personal growth. It is a privilege to be trusted to be alongside someone during his/her therapeutic process. I am focused on facilitating progression towards improvement that will hopefully sustain my clients beyond therapy. I am interested in learning about my clients so that I can provide them with the best care.

I’m passionate about walking with people as they navigate healing, growth, and self-discovery—especially those in communities that have often been overlooked or underserved. My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a variety of roles: school teacher, parole officer, child protective services investigator, state benefits worker, and therapy aide for individuals with brain injuries. Each experience deepened my understanding of resilience, empathy, and the importance of community connection. In our work together, no concern is “too small.” This is your space to feel seen, heard, and supported as you sort through the things that matter most to you. I see therapy as a collaborative process—we’ll work together to explore your strengths, challenges, and goals, at a pace that feels right for you. My counseling style is flexible and eclectic, pulling from different therapeutic approaches to fit your needs. Whether we’re focusing on reflection, problem-solving, or new ways of coping, the goal is to create a plan that feels authentic and useful to you. I consider it an honor to be part of your journey and look forward to supporting you along the way.

I previously served in the Air Force, serving my country. I have a bachelor's in dietetics and nutrition with years of nutrition counseling as well. Over the years, I have honed my skills, gaining experience in various therapeutic techniques and approaches to better serve my clients.

Hello, I am very happy to meet you here. My name is Cassandra Sams, but please call me Sandy. I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years. Most of my experience has been in private practice but I also spent some time in agencies working with children and adolescents. I believe the agency work gave me wonderful opportunities to work with families and to help them navigate very challenging issues like mood disorders and anxiety. I feel very privileged to have been allowed to help parents find new behaviors to help them navigate the world of parenting. I also have been able to help children and adolescents understand their parents' perspectives. Likewise, I really enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with various life transitions such as leaving school to go to college or into the workforce, leaving college and building a career, getting married and having children, or struggling with the mid-life crisis and coping with career changes or life changes such as divorce or deaths of family members. I do not consider myself to be the expert of your life. You are the expert and I am the witness. I feel honored and privileged to be invited into your life experiences and to be a witness to your life's journey. I believe that your story is sacred and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. I use cognitive behavioral strategies blended with existential therapy to assist you in discovering what your story is. My hope is that you will learn to love your stories as much as I do.

I am a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, including divorce, separation, and shifts in identity or direction. I also support first responders who are managing chronic stress, burnout, and the emotional demands of high-intensity work, as well as individuals who are struggling with the transition into adulthood after high school and finding their footing in independence, relationships, and purpose. My style is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping you make sense of what you’re going through without judgment. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, even if they’re doing their best to keep things together on the outside. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, understand patterns, and begin creating more clarity and stability in your life. I integrate insight-oriented therapy with practical, evidence-based tools to help you build emotional awareness, improve coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable change. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start—our work begins with where you are right now.
