Hello! I'm so happy you're here! I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW). I began my career in Florida before returning home to Minnesota. My experience started in a hospital setting, supporting adults facing addiction, homelessness, anxiety, postpartum depression, grief, loss, and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as you process your emotions. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you and take steps toward healing that feel meaningful and manageable.
I aim to help you reconnect with your own inner strength. Whether we’re using cognitive tools or motivational approaches, therapy is grounded in care and built around what feels safe and meaningful for you.
I am passionate about helping high-achieving women and young women (age 16+) who feel overwhelmed by career or academic pressure, anxiety, and expectations to create a more balanced, fulfilling life. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Communication from Southern Connecticut University and Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Saint Joseph. I have many years of experience working with individuals and families in inpatient, outpatient, and school mental health treatment. I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for women to enhance their mental well-being. I specialize in anxiety and stress management, self care, relationship issues, career difficulties, academic stress, and life transitions.
Hi! I'm Vicki, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Behavior Analyst.
Are you struggling with problems that have a negative impact on your quality of life? Tired of trying to figure out how to change things on your own? I would love to work with you to help you sort through those things that are keeping you from living the life you want to enjoy.
I enjoy the art of applying a unique blend of mental health and behavioral approaches to life's problems. I love supporting motivated individuals to identify those areas of their lives that are standing in the way of experiencing the high quality life they want and deserve.
Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, family issues, overwhelm, anxiety or depression, I am here to help you identify what's not working in your life and get you to a place of balance and inner calm.
Together, we can create a safe space for you to share and develop new skills. As we work together, I can provide you with research- and evidence-based tools and techniques to address those problematic life areas.
I look forward to working together!
If you’re constantly overthinking, struggling with your relationship with food or your body, or feeling like you have to hold everything together, you’re not alone.
I’m Anjalie Sukhwa, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, university professor, and PhD candidate. I often work with women and individuals navigating anxiety, eating disorders, body image concerns, and the pressure to appear “okay” on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally.
I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build insight, and develop practical tools for change. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, values, and cultural background.
I also integrate a mind–body approach, supporting clients dealing with the emotional impact of chronic health or medical concerns and helping you build a more trusting, balanced relationship with your body.
My style is warm, collaborative, and gently challenging. I’ll support you while also helping you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Starting therapy can be overwhelming, whether for the first time ever or the first time in a while. Many of us have been shamed and dismissed for what we had to do to survive, even in therapy. My goal is to help you understand what your past taught you, and how you may be carrying these lessons in a way that no longer benefits you. This is not meant to "dwell in the darkness" but to reconnect with yourself and learn how you can begin to show up for yourself in ways that did not feel possible in the past.
Start your journey toward healing, resilience, and balance with me. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida and founder of Healing Matters Therapy. I have over 11 years of experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, as well as working with couples and families. I know seeking therapy takes courage, which is why I provide compassionate, client-centered care in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My collaborative approach blends evidence-based practices with a focus on resilience, self-awareness, and growth—helping you navigate challenges and discover healing within yourself.
I am first of all a very empathic human been. In a therapeutic session you will find an empathic listener, who is on your side, to help you make changes, process situations, externalize feelings and see situations with a different lense.
With twenty years of experience working with clients I have been exposed to many different life situations, and will do my best to help you in the transition.
My professional path began in high-pressure corporate environments where performance, long hours, and responsibility were expected. After more than two decades in complex global organizations — earning an MBA from George Washington University and completing postgraduate work at Emory University — I saw firsthand how chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, and unresolved trauma can destabilize both professional and personal life.
For the past seven years, I have provided psychotherapy in psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment programs, Drug Court, and private practice settings. A significant portion of my training involved delivering intensive trauma therapy within a court-supervised program, working with individuals experiencing PTSD, substance use disorders, anger issues, and significant life disruption. That environment required structure, mutual accountability, and advanced emotional regulation skills. It also required the disciplined application of evidence-based trauma treatments while maintaining psychological safety in high-intensity situations.
I specialize in helping adults work through trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and relationship strain — particularly when the life they have built no longer feels sustainable or aligned with who they want to become.
Some days—or even whole seasons of life—can feel heavier than others. You might feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy doesn’t magically erase life’s difficulties, but it can create space to better understand yourself, respond to challenges more intentionally, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental. Clients who value authenticity, self-reflection, and meaningful personal growth often connect well with my style. I aim to create an environment where you don’t have to perform, impress anyone, or have the “right” words for what you’re feeling.
I often incorporate humor, metaphors, reflection, and practical resources such as worksheets, videos, or exercises when they feel helpful and relevant—not as homework for the sake of homework, but as tools to support insight and meaningful change outside of sessions as well.
Rather than telling you who to be or what decisions to make, I see therapy as a collaborative process that helps you build greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility, self-trust, and resilience. My hope is that over time, you feel more confident navigating life in a way that feels authentic and aligned with your values.

Through this array of different experiences, I was given the opportunity to explore a wide array of populations and mental health disorders. Hi, I'm Katie, a Licensed Clinical Social.
Helping and supporting others has been a driving factor in my life; therefore, I began my career as a teacher. My education and experience in the classroom greatly influenced me; however, I saw how difficult it is to learn when one is struggling with many emotional and mental health needs. While in graduate school, I transitioned to working with families in more of a case management role. During that time, I started noticing how the adults I worked with were often struggling and had not received the help they needed. After completing graduate school, I began working in an inpatient hospital that treats mental health and chemical dependency. After several years working with patients individually and facilitating group therapy, I transitioned to managing an intensive outpatient mental health program for senior adults. In this role, I facilitated group therapy and met with patients individually at times. I greatly enjoyed getting to know my clients and cheering alongside them as they made progress. While I value group therapy, I recognize that it is not the right fit for everyone. Therefore, I have set up a private practice to meet the needs of individuals in ways I was unable to do in previous roles. I believe change is possible and that each person has strengths and life experiences that they can draw upon to help themselves move forward. My passion is helping clients utilize what they already have, learn additional tools for coping, and develop healthier ways of thinking.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida with over 16 years of experience. My pronouns are she/her. Maybe you’re facing major life changes, struggling with grief, or feeling the weight of anxiety or low self-esteem. If you’re ready to find balance, peace, purpose and clarity, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!!
Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations.
Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment.
While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.

You’re a high-achieving woman who appears successful on the outside, yet internally feels overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly unfulfilled. You know how to perform, push through, and hold it all together, but patterns like perfectionism, people-pleasing, procrastination, or chronic self-doubt continue to limit your sense of ease, confidence, and fulfillment.
You may have a strong career, financial stability, a home, and a life that looks “together” from the outside. Your responsibilities are handled. Your bills are paid. You show up for others. And yet, there’s a persistent sense that something is missing. No matter how much you accomplish, the relief is temporary and the internal pressure quickly returns. You tell yourself you should feel satisfied, but instead feel stuck in cycles you can’t seem to outthink or outwork.
My work is designed for women like you, those who are capable, self-aware, and ready for meaningful change. Together, we move beyond surface-level coping strategies and address the deeper roots of self-sabotage. Through a highly personalized, one-on-one approach, we uncover the unconscious patterns driving these behaviors, strengthen self-trust, and build the internal safety needed to create lasting change.
This is not about fixing what’s “wrong” with you. It’s about helping you feel grounded, confident, and fulfilled in a life you’ve already worked hard to build, without burning out or betraying yourself along the way.

Hello, my name is Ann and look forward to meeting and to working with you. I moved from Pennsylvania in 2019 as I could not handle winter any more and needed to be somewhere warm! I have two Master of Arts degrees from Kutztown University - one in Counseling Psychology ( obtained in 1995) and the other in School Counseling ( obtained in 2004). I started in mental health therapy in 1995, then moved into substance abuse counseling for several years, then school counseling while I raised my son for 18 yrs, and now back to mental health/substance use counseling as that is my passion. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband doing outdoor activities - especially riding the Harley and going out on the water. I love to walk daily and enjoy knitting in my spare time.
Everyone in life ( including therapists at times) need someone to talk to in order to help resolve problems, manage stress, process trauma or enhance coping skills. I believe in looking at what you want to accomplish as the goal of therapy and then working on skills to achieve that goal. I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques as well as person-centered techniques and when needed will involve the family if the client is willing and if it will enhance our work together. I believe everyone has the tools inside them to achieve their goals; it is just about unlocking them and utilizing them. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors and have utilized mindfulness exercises. I also have worked extensively with clients who have co-occurring disorders including depression/anxiety along with substance use disorder. I also have work extensively with teenagers and LGTBQ+ community.
I approach therapy with the belief that healing and growth are always possible. Change is a natural part of life, and I view counseling as a supportive space where individuals and couples can explore challenges, strengthen resilience, and move toward greater well-being. My work is grounded in compassion, empathy, and respect, creating a safe environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
I was born in Cuba and moved to the United States with my family at a young age. Growing up in Central Florida, I became deeply curious about people, relationships, and the ways we navigate life’s struggles. That early curiosity developed into a calling to support others through their own journeys of healing and growth. Today, I work with both individuals and couples, helping them process trauma, improve communication, manage anxiety, and cultivate stronger, healthier connections.
Fluent in English, Spanish, (and Spanglish), I enjoy providing therapy in whichever language feels most comfortable for my clients. My cultural background and bilingual skills allow me to offer a more inclusive and culturally sensitive counseling experience, something I believe is essential in building trust and fostering healing.
In my practice, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Gottman Method, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. I also bring a person-centered philosophy, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and collaboration as core elements of the therapeutic process.
Outside of my professional life, I value balance and joy. I enjoy barbell strength training, which reminds me of the importance of persistence and self-care. I also love singing with my husband and spending meaningful time with family and friends. These personal joys keep me grounded and inspire the work I do with clients every day.

I’m a direct, honest therapist who believes real change happens when we stop pretending things are fine. I work especially well with people navigating addiction, whether you’re struggling yourself or affected by someone else’s use. I understand the tug-of-war between wanting relief and wanting control — and how exhausting it is to live in that space.
I also get how hard it is to find balance in a world that moves too fast and demands too much. If you’re tired of surface-level fixes, quick advice, or being told what you should do, we’ll probably work well together. I’m not a quick-fix or band-aid therapist. My goal is to help you slow things down, get honest, and reconnect with your truth — not the version of you shaped by pressure, expectations, or survival mode.

Hello, I'm Amber, a dedicated and compassionate trauma-informed therapist committed to providing a safe and empathetic space for individuals on their healing journey. With a background in psychology and extensive training, I bring a holistic approach that integrates psychodynamic, person-centered, mind-body approach and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to support clients in their path to recovery.
Incorporating a mind-body approach in therapy involves recognizing and addressing the interconnectedness of mental and physical health. This approach may include techniques such as mindfulness, deep breathing, or progressive muscle relaxation to help clients become more aware of how their thoughts and emotions influence their physical sensations. By integrating practices that focus on bodily awareness and self-regulation, therapists can help clients manage stress, reduce anxiety, and improve overall well-being.
My psychodynamic orientation allows me to help clients delve into the unconscious aspects of their psyche, understanding how past experiences shape current thoughts and behaviors. Through this exploration, we work together to identify patterns, gain insight into unresolved conflicts, and promote long-term personal growth.
In addition to the psychodynamic approach, I integrate person-centered therapy principles, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in the inherent goodness and resilience of individuals and strive to create a space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate their unique healing process.
Furthermore, my practice incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), focusing on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. This approach allows us to develop practical strategies for coping with the impact of trauma, fostering resilience and promoting positive change.
With a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in trauma treatment, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based and client-centered care. I am here to support you on your journey towards healing, personal empowerment, and a more fulfilling life.
