Hi, I’m Naida, a Board Certified Diplomate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida and licensed in Florida, California, Massachusetts, Colorado, Washington, North Carolina, and Nebraska. With 16 years of social work experience and 4 years in private practice, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s most challenging and vulnerable moments.
My background includes working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic and acute medical conditions, oncology-related concerns, end-of-life issues, and major life transitions. I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, supported, and empowered.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I believe in meeting people where they are while helping them build the tools, insight, and confidence needed to move forward in their lives. Whether you are navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, caregiver burnout, health challenges, or personal growth, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and practical support.
I am passionate about helping others reconnect with themselves, find balance, and create meaningful change at their own pace.
I primarily provide talk therapy, which I find most clients prefer; however, I specialize in and frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which works well in almost all cases. I typically work with clients over the age of 18. I have the most experience and comfort working with those with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and seeking to improve communication skills. I attempt to create a comfortable and open environment for my clients. I don't believe a client should feel as though they are sitting in a 'clinical' or 'stuffy' setting.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals overcome anxiety and reclaim their lives from fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), and related conditions such as Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs).
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their challenges while developing practical skills to manage anxiety and build confidence. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other proven therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs.
I understand how overwhelming anxiety can feel and how much courage it takes to seek help. My goal is to empower clients to face their fears, reduce distress, and move toward a life that is guided by their values rather than their anxiety. Whether you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, excessive worry, appearance-related concerns, or compulsive behaviors, I am committed to helping you achieve meaningful and lasting change.

My goal is to support individuals and families in developing healthier coping strategies, strengthening emotional regulation, building resilience, and navigating life’s challenges within a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from a variety of modalities and interventions. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, with an emphasis on personal growth, healing, and meaningful change.
Whether you or your family are navigating emotional, behavioral, relational, or life-transition challenges, you do not have to face them alone. I would be honored to support you on your journey toward greater emotional well-being and resilience.

Honoring what we need is not selfish - it is an essential part of caring for ourselves, and creating a life where we can heal, grow, and thrive. I feel truly humbled and honored to meet each client who chooses me as their therapist. I also believe that a little humor can go a long way - it can bring lightness to difficult moments, strengthen connection, and remind us that healing doesn't always have to feel so heavy.

My vision in life is to help people understand and be changed by the fact that they are precious, valuable, and loved. What we believe about ourselves shapes the thoughts we have and the decisions we make, so my goal is always to start with identity since everything flows from that. When we learn how God truly views us, we have the ability to gain renewed perspective and tools for how to deal with the anxiety, depression, and other turmoil life brings.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine. Though my title says "Marriage and Family," my door is open to individuals, couples, and families alike, because pain doesn't always fit neatly into one category, and neither does healing.
My clients often arrive having carried their struggles alone for far too long. Maybe it's crushing stress that follows them from morning to night. Maybe it's anxiety that hums beneath the surface, never quite letting them rest. Maybe it's a relationship that once felt like home but now feels like a battlefield. Or maybe there's no name for it at all, just a quiet, persistent sense that something isn't right.
I understand that place. I've sat with people in their darkest moments, in psychiatric facilities, in schools, in the quiet corners of their own lives, and I've witnessed both profound suffering and extraordinary resilience. I've learned that healing rarely happens in a single breakthrough. It happens in the steady, patient work of being seen, understood, and challenged to grow.
Now in private practice, I offer something different from the quick fixes and surface-level solutions that so often leave people feeling unheard. I offer sustained, meaningful work, the kind that takes time, honesty, and courage. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, relationship wounds, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to walk alongside you. Not to rush you. Not to judge you. But to help you find your way back to yourself, one honest conversation at a time.
Hi, I’m Brittnay. I am a licensed therapist providing culturally grounded, intersectional mental health support across California. As a Black, queer practitioner, my practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens when you can bring your entire, authentic self into the room. Navigating a world that often demands compliance can be exhausting. That is why I offer an unapologetic, trauma-informed space where your lived experiences as a QTBIPOC individual are not just understood, but honored. Together, we will work through life’s complexities without you ever needing to explain your basic identity. Whether you are looking to process minority stress, heal from trauma, or navigate relationships, I am here to walk alongside you. You do not have to do this work alone. Let's build a space where you can feel deeply seen, safe, and supported.
My life experiences, education, and extensive professional training have inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences.
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients during difficult and vulnerable times. My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, and active listening. I bring a calm and present demeanor to each session, helping clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
My goal is to meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to foster self-awareness, personal growth, and meaningful change. Together, we can explore challenges, build on strengths, and create a path toward greater well-being.

Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Welcome and thank you for considering me in your wellness journey. I'm Ekaete Ekpo, a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy. I bring warmth, care, compassion, and a nonjudgmental presence to our work together, tailoring therapy to your goals and the unique needs of each client. We'll build insight and practical tools.
