New to Grow
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and have completed the hours toward licensure as an MFT. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). These experiences have equipped me to support individuals and families navigating a wide range of challenges.
The first session creates a foundation. I'll offer a safe, relaxed space where you can share what's bringing you to therapy. We'll discuss what you've been experiencing, what you hope to gain, and what's most important to you. Together, we'll identify goals based on your needs, values, and preferences.
I help clients reach their goals by creating a collaborative space where we clarify what matters most and break those goals into meaningful, manageable steps. My approach combines practical skill-building with deeper emotional exploration. Real change happens through consistency, self-compassion, and feeling truly seen and supported.
My ideal client is someone navigating life transitions who is seeking a supportive space to better understand themselves and their relationships. I often work well with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community who may be exploring identity, managing stressors related to belonging, or working through relational challenges. These clients are typically motivated for treatment and open to engaging in the therapeutic process, even when it feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar. They may be looking for an outlet to process emotions, build coping strategies, and develop healthier patterns of communication and connection. Drawing from a relational and systemic perspective, I support clients in making sense of their experiences, strengthening their sense of self, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.
Narrative
I have been working with narrative therapy for years. I believe the best way to change your current mindset is to see where it is coming from and breaking the cycle.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has been utilized in my practice since the beginning. I have attended extensive trainings to teach clients how to utilize distress tolerance skills for when emotions seem overwhelming.
