New to Grow
I am an LCSW. I provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where you can finally feel empowered to live the life you deserve. Through a variety of approaches and interventions that are customized to you and your needs, we will work together to move you in the direction of a new way of experiencing yourself. At the end of our time together, it is my hope that you will feel stronger, more grounded, with a deeper understanding of yourself. Bringing humor, empathy, and compassion, I am here to assist in honing the needed skills to heal and grow.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
My hope is for your first session with me to feel relaxed, supported, and know that you have taken a big step towards self-healing. Getting there isn’t always easy, but having someone to support you along the way is a courageous step in the right direction.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My goal is to create a relaxed environment that will foster trust and progress through consistency. I use a casual and gentle approach to communicating with humor as one of my tools. I aim to create the opportunity for clients to foster self-awareness, build self-esteem, cultivate self-trust, and truly heal.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My expertise is centered on working with adults and older adults and adolescents to process and heal from trauma, persistent mental illness, and other co-occurring disorders. As a psychotherapist, I am passionate about reformative experiences involving trauma, addiction, and general mental well being. Areas of experience include treating substance abuse, sex addiction, codependency, love addiction, stressors/triggers, anxiety/depression, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, sports performance, and relationship issues. I work with individuals & couples.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I specialize in solution focused and strength based treatment method. I believe in clients to use their strengths to reach their goals. This method helps identify "exceptions" (times the problem is less severe) and amplify them. My hope is to create a faster, more sustainable change by focusing on capacity rather than deficits and boost motivation, agency, and hope—key factors for therapeutic progress.
