Hi, I’m Randy. Are you feeling stuck in cycles of stress, anxiety, anger, or emotional exhaustion—easily triggered, on edge, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward? You don’t have to carry this alone. I have experience helping veterans heal from combat trauma, supporting survivors of military sexual trauma, and working with men and women in fire and police service. I also support Gold Star families as they navigate grief and loss. In addition, I work well with individuals facing work-related stress, leadership pressure, burnout, and high levels of responsibility. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve worked with therapists before, I recognize the courage it takes to reach out. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, grounded space to heal and grow. I approach therapy with compassion and evidence-based techniques, helping you understand what’s not working, regulate stress and emotions, and move toward greater balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of control in your life. Ofrezco servicios de terapia en inglés y en español.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and focus on what brought you to therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll talk about your current challenges, what you’re hoping to change, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and help you leave the session with a clearer understanding of next steps. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and a little more grounded by the end of our first meeting.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are my ability to meet clients where they are and walk alongside them with honesty and compassion. Having faced my own challenges as a veteran and first-generation professional, I understand what it means to carry stress, responsibility, and unresolved trauma. I use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches while also helping clients develop practical skills to regulate emotions, manage stress, and regain a sense of control. Clients often tell me therapy feels real, grounded, and purposeful—and that they leave sessions with both insight and direction.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are adults working through trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and chronic stress. I frequently work with fathers and mothers, younger adults, professionals in helping roles, and individuals struggling with anger, emotional regulation, or burnout. I am especially well-suited to support clients dealing with work-related stress, leadership pressure, and high responsibility roles. Drawing from my own leadership challenges, growth, and experience in demanding professional environments, I help clients build emotional regulation, clarity, resilience, and sustainable balance—both at work and at home.
Mind-body approach
When we explain how our body and mind work, it helps clients understand what's happening and empowers them to take back control.
