New to Grow
I help adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, or challenging life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel stuck, uncertain, or emotionally drained and are looking for support, clarity, and practical tools to move forward. In therapy, we work together to better understand what you’re experiencing while building coping skills that can help you manage difficult emotions and life challenges. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, strengthen resilience, and feel more confident, grounded, and empowered in your daily life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a relaxed and supportive conversation where we begin getting to know each other. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you may be experiencing, and what you hope will feel different in your life. I may ask questions about your background, current stressors, and strengths so I can better understand your experiences. You are always welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying your goals and discuss practical next steps so you can start feeling more supported and confident moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and health-related stress. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness to help clients better understand their thoughts, manage emotions, and build effective coping strategies. I focus on helping clients develop tools they can use in everyday life so that progress continues beyond our sessions.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or life changes and is looking for support and practical tools to cope. They may be navigating uncertainty related to health, caregiving, relationships, or personal transitions. They are open to exploring their thoughts and emotions while learning strategies to feel more balanced, confident, and resilient.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies to manage anxiety, stress, and life challenges. CBT is a structured and goal-oriented approach, and I often incorporate tools such as coping skills, thought reframing, and between-session exercises to help clients build confidence and create meaningful change in their daily lives
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients manage intense emotions and navigate difficult situations more effectively. In sessions, we focus on building skills such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy communication. These tools can help clients feel more balanced, improve relationships, and respond to challenges with greater confidence.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy helps clients focus on their strengths and identify small, meaningful steps toward their goals. Rather than focusing only on problems, we explore what is already working and how to build on those successes. This approach is collaborative, empowering, and helps clients create practical changes in their daily lives.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients learn how to respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with greater flexibility and self-compassion. In our work together, we focus on mindfulness, acceptance, and identifying personal values that guide meaningful actions. ACT helps clients move forward even when challenges are present.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I integrate mindfulness techniques to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical responses without judgment. Mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and increase a sense of calm and clarity. Clients often learn simple practices they can use in everyday life to feel more grounded and present.
