Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who is passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. I have experience working with people of many ages and backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and strive to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe to be themselves and openly share their experiences. I believe in meeting clients where they are and building a genuine connection that allows for trust, growth, and healing. I have worked with concerns such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate difficult moments and discover their strength and resilience.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring the concerns or challenges you would like support with. I may ask questions about your background, current experiences, and goals for therapy so I can better understand how to support you. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the therapy process and what working together may look like. My intention is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together toward your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my focus on building a genuine connection with my clients while creating a safe and supportive space for them to explore their experiences. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs, allowing me to meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels comfortable for them. I integrate evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed approaches, to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping skills.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating difficult life experiences and are open to support in their healing journey. Many of the clients I work with are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, or past trauma and are looking for a safe space to process their emotions and experiences. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace while learning tools to better cope with life’s stressors. Whether someone is beginning therapy for the first time or returning to therapy during a challenging season, I value creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT to work with my clients of diverse ages and stages in life. I use CBT to help my clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In our sessions, we'll work together to identify, challenge and reframe unhealthy thinking patterns. We will also work together to develop the tools that will help you navigate challenges and manage stressful situations. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you create meaningful changes in your everyday life.

Trauma Informed Care

As a therapist, I always approach my work through a trauma-informed lens that prioritizes safety, trust, and collaboration. Trauma-informed care allows me to understand that many of the behaviors, emotions, and coping strategies clients present with are adaptive responses to past difficult experiences. When meeting with clients, I focus first on creating an environment where they feel emotionally and psychologically safe.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I utilize Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) when working with clients who have experienced trauma. In my practice, I focus on helping clients understand how trauma impacts thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping and emotional regulation skills. I support clients in identifying and challenging trauma-related beliefs and gradually processing their experiences in a safe and supportive environment. My approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and creating a sense of safety as clients build resilience and strengthen their ability to manage trauma-related distres
