I’m a licensed therapist specializing in co-occurring mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and bipolar disorder and addiction/alcoholism. I work with individuals who feel stuck in cycles they genuinely want to break—whether that’s , unhealthy relationships or feeling overwhelmed. My approach is direct, compassionate, and grounded in real-life application. I draw from evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, but I focus just as much on helping you actually use these tools in your day-to-day life. Therapy with me isn’t just about insight—it’s about change, accountability, and building a better life. Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to, honest without being harsh, and able to balance structure with flexibility. I’m not a “blank slate” therapist—I show up as a real person in the room, and I value authenticity on both sides. Hi my name is Mandisa Pittmon and I am a married mother of 3 teenage children who understands the joy and challenges of parenting and relationships. I am originally from Southern California but have happily resided in Sacramento, CA since 2012. I graduated from California State Fullerton and soon began working with foster youth in group home facilities for 8 years while working in nonprofit community outpatient clinics, which allowed me to better understand the needs of families and children from various cultures and back grounds. I then earned a Masters degree (MA) in 2011 from National University, feeling the need to increase my knowledge and ability to serve individuals and families, which began my journey in marriage and family therapy. Later I was able to receive additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing me to work with children on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities, in various school districts.

I’m a licensed professional counselor with 20 years of experience in community mental health settings. As a therapist and behavioral health practitioner, I have worked with complex trauma, psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use. I have a masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Amsterdam and lived in the Netherlands for six years. There, I also began building my family, and that international foundation shaped both how I think and how I work. I work with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges — from anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns to identity, major transitions, and the quieter but persistent sense that something just isn’t working. This includes people working through faith transitions or untangling the psychological weight of a strict or high-control religious upbringing — something I understand not just clinically, but personally. Whether you’re in crisis or simply ready to understand yourself better, I meet people where they are.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help adults and couples navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is warm, authentic, trauma-informed, and rooted in accountability. If you're dealing with depression or anxiety, or situations in your life that you're not happy with, first of all, you're not alone. Lots of people are dealing with hard times now, and it's affecting how lots of us feel, work, and engage with our relationships. But you should know that most problems can be dealt with effectively -- sometimes all we need is a little help. I'm good at providing that kind of help. I usually work with clients on core issues, foundations of well-being, like self esteem, codependency, self assertion, and also, how do they do with relationships? What's going on with work? Are there family issues? Is there solid self esteem there? Most of my clients come in feeling very uncertain about what their next steps are, and most often, they tell me that feelings of sadness, or worry, are definitely in their way. I've been helping people heal and grow for over 20 years, and what I hear back from clients is that I'm honest, smart, kind, and that I don't waste their time. The work we do together is not just about soothing and comforting, but also, and more directly about problem solving: if you're unhappy, what do you need in order for that to change? And what are all your needs, anyway? Are you even sure of how you need your life to be? I'd like to help you find the answers to those questions. And if you're in a relationship, getting over one, or hoping to find a new one, I do a lot of work with people who are dealing with that, too. I hope I can help you feel better, and get your needs met in life. Because there's nothing that matters more.

I found myself becoming a psychotherapist through nudges from friends and family pointing me toward a field they believed suited me well. I'm so grateful I listened and changed careers from education to psychology; 10 years later, I'm writing this with great satisfaction about my profession. The work of joining a person in articulating, understanding, and organizing their experience is a wonderful thing. This work makes sense to me; I both enjoy serving others and the psychic rewards of their growth and success. I've worked in various settings, including CBT, college counseling, and psychodynamic clinics, as well as addiction medicine, behavioral health primary care, and medical integration with Kaiser Permanente. All of these contexts have combined to bring my clinical style together in an integrative-relational approach to treatment.

I have always loved people and have been interested in forming deep relationships throughout my life. As time went on, this manifested into an interest in a career as a therapist. I use a variety of approaches in my work, depending on the needs of my clients, including client-centered cognitive behavioral with a psychodynamic perspective and mindfulness. When we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings with kindness and compassion, we gain insight and understanding of our authentic selves. We experience inner peace, find deeper meaning, and become more nurturing to ourselves and others without judgment. I work with adults from ages 18 to 100 on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I am also trained as a transformational life coach.

I believe that we all deserve a safe space to process our experiences, and my primary goal is to provide you that space. I provide a person-centered approach that emphasizes helping my clients build self-compassion, as I believe that it is only from a place of self-compassion that we can feel grounded within ourselves enough to develop a compassionate relationship with others around us. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, trauma informed, and practical, and I believe that we are all on a healing journey and see myself as a fellow traveler. It is an honor to walk by your side

My name is Judy Jordan and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years years of professional experience in counseling with children,, adults, and families. I took an evening course in Psychology 5 when starting school, and by the end of it , I knew I wanted to become a therapist. I was drawn to understanding people on a deeper level and helping them through their struggles. With support from my dad, I left my job and went back to school starting from scratch. I loved every minute of learning and felt more certain with each class that I was on the right path. My dedication paid off...I earned straight A's and received the Academic Achievement Award in Psychology. More importantly I found a sense of purpose in supporting others on their mental health journeys.

Feeling overwhelmed, doubting yourself, or stuck without a path forward? Maybe you're constantly taking care of everyone else and putting your own needs aside. I am Tanya Gray-Dorsett, a Licensed Marriage, Child and Family Therapist and I have spent 12 years helping individuals navigate anxiety, self-doubt, trauma, relationships, and major life transitions, whether it be life-stressor related problems or more intense mental health concerns. These can include job stress, problems with life transitions, Anxiety and Anxiety disorders, and Depression. I provide warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can be seen and heard, understood, accepted for who you are. I have extensive experience helping children and adults who have experienced trauma, and I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where difficult experiences can be explore at a pace that doesn't feel overwhelming or re-traumatize you. I have extensive knowledge and experience working with children with ADHD and educational problems. When I speak about my work with children and adolescents, caregiver involvement is of great significance! Which is where I lean to family systems work. I am currently mission-focused to help those who struggle with self-doubt, low self-esteem, problems with making self-sufficient decisions, and simply want to exist with confidence. My goal is to help you develop greater confidence, clarity, emotional balance, and healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. I also currently aim to support individuals who have trauma history and need that non-judgmental approach that allows them to feel safe and be open to talk about that trauma so that they may put it behind them and build brighter futures using a trauma informed model. I don't focus so much on labeling you with a diagnosis. Rather, I want to focus on and understand the person behind the problem and what is happening in your life right now.
