I have been in the psychology field for over 20 years now. I love what I do and helping every client become successful. The relationship between the client(s) and myself is important in achieving the goals we set together. How our past experiences have influenced our current lives is a key issue. I feel that support systems in our daily lives are important to examine. The issues of separation, loss, freedom, dependence and independence are crucial to examine as one leaves home and parental influences. I work with individuals, couples, teens and families. Every session is different because every client is different, as are their problems. I'll encourage you to talk and explore, in a structured way, your feelings and experiences. Whatever the technique or clinical approach, psychotherapy is not a magical cure, it is a process to help you find the capacity for improvement within yourself. Psychotherapy aims to help you gain insight into your difficulties or distress and enable you to find more appropriate ways of coping or bring about changes in your thinking and behavior. Psychotherapy involves exploring feelings, beliefs, thoughts and events, sometimes from childhood, in a structured way to help you do it safely. I have a website that has 16 courses on it for you to do self paced sessions. I also have book I wrote on that website. I’ve studied and practiced many methods. I like to be eclectic and work with you with what’s needed to get you back on track and feeling your best. I was a teacher for many years, then went for my masters in social work. Life has many twists and turns. Sometimes we can feel off balance or are suffering from depression or anxiety. We’ve all had our ups and downs and getting back on track and feeling our best is a goal I enjoy helping people achieve to live the life they want. Are your coping skills no longer working? Do you need new ones? Maybe you have some unprocessed traumas that need to be processed so that you can move forward.

Hello there, thanks for spending the time to get to know me as a Therapist. I would like first to welcome you to this interesting journey of getting to know yourself deeply and possibly understand the world around you. First, I explore you, the problem you are facing, your environment, and your past to understand better what is going on. So, be aware, I will take some time on that. I especially want you to feel heard and understood first, to be in the same page before we move on to the next step. I was told to be very approachable and easy to talk to, even when I point out inconsistencies for us to gain broader insight into your situation. Over the years of experience, I have learned that each of my clients brings a different theory that needs to be treated case by case. I use several different approaches and orientations, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Bowen Therapy, and Structural Therapy among many others. I have treated adolescents, women, men, couples, and families, and I have been treated at different severity levels. I have been successful in bringing out the best of you once you find your personal goals and place in life. Overall, I am open to your needs and preferences in treatment plan and interventions, as long as it brings you back to your functioning and high performance.

Ideally, my dream client is someone who is eager to explore their identity, including aspects of race, culture, and gender, in a safe and affirming space. They are open to discussing sensitive topics and are willing to challenge societal norms and expectations that may be impacting their well-being. My dream client is proactive in their approach to therapy, actively participating in sessions, completing assigned tasks or homework, and practicing coping skills outside of our sessions. They understand that therapy is a collaborative effort and are committed to working together to achieve their goals. Additionally, my dream client is respectful, compassionate, and empathetic towards others, fostering a sense of community and support within the therapeutic environment. They are open to learning from different perspectives and are willing to engage in discussions around social justice, equity, and inclusion. Overall, my dream client is someone who is committed to their personal growth and development, embraces their uniqueness, and values the power of therapy in fostering resilience and well-being.

Hey there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in California and Massachusetts. I earned my master’s degree from the University of New England, with a focus on Individuals, Families, and Groups, and I bring 13 years of experience working alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting people through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and experiences that have left them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. I particularly enjoy helping people find perspective through the voice of their pain. I believe that pain and discomfort, while often difficult, can also become powerful teachers when we are willing to slow down, listen, and understand what our experiences are trying to tell us. Therapy provides a space to explore those experiences without judgment while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, and move forward. In our work together, we will identify your concerns, explore the patterns and beliefs that may be affecting your well-being, and develop practical strategies that are tailored to your individual needs and goals. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered to become more intentional about the life you want to create. I look forward to walking alongside you as you tend to your heart, discover your strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

Hi, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California for 20 years and I hold a doctorate degree in the Philosophy of Counseling. I am in my second marriage for 30 years now, after my 24-year first marriage failed. We have seven children between the two of us, 31 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. I have had good success counseling couples who have given up on their relationship, especially those who have experienced infidelity. I don't counsel children until they are 18. I enjoy helping people understand how they became the way they are and therefore find ways to leave dysfunction behind.

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist practicing in California. I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University – Los Angeles. I received my license in 2020, and work with adults, adolescents and seniors. At present, I meet clients in-person or virtually for couples and individual therapy. Often people seek therapy when they are going through a rough patch. We can work together to navigate, and attempt to improve the situation by applying coping strategies, reviewing options., and other techniques.

Hello, my name is David Fallon and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been licensed for about 20 years. I've worked with all kinds of individuals. I started by working with kids with behavior issues. Mostly I have worked with serious mental illness on the streets serving unhoused individuals. And I have worked with people seeking help in a one on one therapy situation. The first session will be for us to get to know each other and see if this is a good fit. I will be asking a lot of questions. Feel free to ask me any questions that come up as well. I will tell you a little bit about how I work. In the early stages, I basically follow your lead. You tell me what you want to work on, and I ask questions to understand the problem. Together we figure out ways of dealing with these problems. Sometimes it takes more than one or two or even a dozen tries to find the right things that work for you. This process is a journey, and I am here to help guide you through it. I can make recommendations, but it is up to you what you want to do and what works for you. Sometimes difficult thoughts are feelings will come up. Do not be afraid to express them when they do as the more genuine and honest you are, the more I will understand what you are dealing with. That being said, always take things at your own pace. Never feel rushed or forced to say anything you are not ready to say.
