About me

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Brandman University and have been practicing for the past 10 years. I help adults struggling with life stressors coupled with anxiety/depression or other mental health issues to overcome challenges and stressors to improve their overall quality of life. I utilize an approach that is specifically tailored to the clients needs and supports their goals and healing process.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I work from a client centered and humanistic approach, which allows me to personalize the treatment to suit each individual; implementing and utilizing approaches that are best suited for and tailored to meet their needs rather than a specific therapeutic modality. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I work from a strength based orientation, that focuses on utilizing past and current skills as well as gaining new ones to assist the client in overcoming life challenges and improving their quality of life or achieving their goals. I honor the therapeutic relationship and believe that it is the foundation to helping clients. I utilize the skills in therapy that I am supporting the clients in obtaining and implementing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with individuals who are looking to make changes in their lives. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their lives whether it be career, relationships or general stressors.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT since 2014. I utilized CBT as a tool to support clients in not only developing coping skills but reducing unwanted negative thought/behavioral patterns that are impacting their lives.

Humanistic

My specialty is being able to work with a variety of individuals and assist them in accessing the resources and tools that are available to them and implementing them in a manner that is meaningful to them in their daily lives.
