New to Grow
I have over 40 years of experience as a medical professional, first as a physical therapist and in 1994 as a Clinical Psychologist upon receiving my license. I have integrated the two professions with many clients, especially those with issues of pain. I have been able to coordinate my knowledge to deal with clients concerns. I offer a very open and supportive environment which allows safe self exposure. I have worked with anxiety, depression, relationship and pain and dysfunction issues. I include this expertise in my work with couples, heterosexual or same sex.
The initial session is meant to provide safety and sharing of issues and any client concerns about my therapist style. Major client concerns will be shared and focus on developing caring relationship with the client. The client is encouraged to explore openly any concerns.
My greatest strength is that I am capable of connecting with people easily. I really love working with individuals and helping them move through the struggles which at times possibly affect all of us. I am open and willing to accept any dysfunction or issue facing a client.
I have extensive experience with anxiety and mind body associated disorders. I have held women's therapy groups for many years encouraging and empowering women to make selections in their lives. I also have couples therapy practice and training with various approaches. I prefer to see adults and am willing to see adolescents. Clients who are willing to develop r elation with the therapist even if only in intervals!
