Trauma Informed Care
In practice, my experience using trauma informed care looks like, me guiding you in creating a healthier "trauma narrative" while slowing the session down if/when it becomes necessary by checking in, & queuing you to utilize your regulation coping skills. The goal is to maintain the body in parasympathetic mode, while telling your story. I'm also trained in EMDR.
