What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Dr. Kathy sessions support a woman's/couple's development through the psychological and physical transitions toward motherhood/parenthood. Her gift is her ability to identify birth-related issues in a woman's and her partner's personal history. She possesses a vast skill set of yogic and therapeutic tools to address the specific anxieties a woman/partner experiences at the threshold of motherhood/parenthood to improve both psychological and medical birth outcomes. The primary focus of the sessions is upon the woman's/couple's needs and development in relationship to her/their developing identity as woman/partner and parent. Family history, past childbirth experiences, present family support, the woman's/partner's own birth experience and realistic preparation for giving birth are covered.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Sessions may be composed with a unique blend of psychotherapy, journaling, art, meditation, and breathwork. Homework is pretty much guaranteed!
