Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), based in California. I received my MSSA in "Mental Health" from the Case Western Reserve University, and I have been practicing for the last ten years+. I help clients who are struggling with stress, anxiety and/or depression, heal and become the best versions of themselves. I also have extensive experience in working with adults who are survivors of domestic violence (DV), intimate partner violence (IPT), and those who are suffering from symptoms of PTSD. I also enjoy working with families who may be experiencing triangulation and communication difficulties. My preferred clinical approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness meditation embedded in DBT, Narrative Therapy, and psycho-dynamic therapy. Finally, I view my clients from a holistic perspective so that we can understand what barriers may be restricting them from experiencing true happiness in life.
I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by relationship conflict, long-standing emotional patterns, or life transitions that have left them feeling stuck or exhausted. Many of my clients are navigating difficult dynamics with partners, family members, or adult children, and are carrying a lot more than they show on the outside.
My approach is warm, genuine, and grounded. I believe therapy works best when clients feel understood as people - not problems to be fixed. I’m believe in developing a true partnership with my clients. I’m engaged, thoughtful, and deeply invested in helping you make sense of what you’ve been through and how it’s still affecting you today.
I work especially well with adults who want more than surface-level coping skills and are open to exploring deeper patterns, including childhood experiences, relationship trauma, and the emotional impact of chronic stress. Therapy with me is a collaborative process focused on insight, healing, and practical change.

If you need therapy for court, I may not be a good fit for you. I will not be providing session notes to the court on your behalf. Also depending on what the nature of court is/why you need treatment, may not go beyond the initial assessment/first visit. If I do not feel comfortable with the reason, nature of court or any of anything along those lines; I will not be moving forward. I feel that I need to be direct with this as I have already provided previously "if you are seeking services for court; I would NOT be able to help with that. Please find another provider." Yet I am still receiving these referrals; therefore I am being direct about this and what expectations are.
My journey to mental healthcare
I did a lot of volunteer work and held a few AmeriCorps positions (America's version of PeaceCorps). I fell in love with helping people and I was told in order to achieve this, I would need to go back to school and complete my MSW.
I am a seasoned psychodynamically trained psychotherapist working with individuals and couples on a short term or long term basis dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief or phase of life. NOTE: I am not accepting couples clients at this time.
I have many years experience working in Palliative and End of Life Care, with individuals coping with cognitive issues such as dementia and with adult issues of trauma, substance abuse, recovery, HIV/AIDS and chronic illness. I have a strong specialty working within the LGBTQ community and with End of Life issues surrounding terminal illness, dying, grief and bereavement. I also offer social work care management/advocacy services for individuals and families who are trying to maneuver through the health care system.
My objective is to empower individuals and couples to better understand themselves, strengthen their resilience, and create more peaceful, fulfilling lives. I believe people already carry the capacity for growth and healing, and my work focuses on helping clients recognize, access, and trust their own strengths.
I offer a therapeutic space that is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I am direct and transparent while remaining supportive and compassionate, and I show up authentically rather than relying on overly clinical language or rigid approaches. My work is collaborative and eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic tools based on each client’s needs, including EMDR. I work with individuals and couples to build insight, improve communication, and create meaningful, lasting change within the broader systems of family and society.
I have experience working with children, families, and individuals as a social worker since 2003, and as a licensed clinical social worker since 2017. Prior to training as a therapist I worked as an advocate for children, youth, and families in various community based non-profits. Witnessing families succeed as I helped ease their burdens led me to the path of clinical social work! I consider it a privilege to be invited and entrusted with the task of walking alongside you during a challenging moment in your life. Seeing you grow and succeed is one of the best rewards I could ask for.
As an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I enjoy working with youth, adolescents, young adults, couples and Families. Throughout my experience, I have successfully worked with individuals, couples and families to gain insight and understanding regarding unhealthy/dysfunctional behavioral life patterns, processing trauma, navigating depression, anxiety and OCD behaviors and helping clients to overcome their struggles and better manage their responses to life stressors.
I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing mind & body. As a dedicated therapist, I specialize in a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, strengths-based therapy & psychotherapy, to help clients overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors.
I want to provide clients with the tools they need for growth, as well as educating them on important concepts like trauma and emotional regulation and long-term healing. I am here to provide a safe, empathetic space where healing and growth can begin. To ensure we’re a good fit, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
I believe healing can be found in a variety of ways that are unique to each of us. Our identities, experiences, and stories shape who we are. I believe it is monumental to learn how all of our pieces intersect to create our authentic self. By understanding these, healing can be transformative.
I believe social justice work is a requirement for therapists. I believe you have a right to know about who you work with morally, ethically, and politically. I am progressive leaning and do what I can to support human rights and the social justice movements. As a white therapist, I believe it is a requirement for me to be engaged in social justice work along with consistent learning experiences.
By providing guidance, support, safety, and empowerment my main goals are to enhance the healing process and promote thriving. I want to create the safest space I can to support connection with your whole, authentic self.
In my sessions, I promote self-discovery, transformation, and self-compassion. I use techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I believe using trauma centered, intersectional feminist, social justice, CRT, and Queer Theory perspectives are fundamental in therapy.
Namaste, my name is Ashwini Gupta and I am Therapist/Intuitive Life Coach specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Vedanta and Mindfulness-based practices. With 20 plus of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges, I am passionate about empowering my clients to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives truly being in touch with the essence of soul identity.
Using ACT as my primary therapeutic approach, I create a warm and non-judgmental space where we can work together to address difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. ACT combines mindfulness, acceptance, and behavior change strategies to guide clients towards psychological flexibility, allowing them to better handle distress and align their actions with their deeply-held values.
What is ACT?
At its core, ACT is a behavioral therapy: it’s about taking action. But it’s not about just any old action. First, it’s about values-guided action. There’s a big existential component to this model:
**What do you want to stand for in life?
**What really matters, deep in your heart?
**What is the legacy do you want to create for yourself?
ACT gets you in touch with what matters in the big picture: your heart’s deepest desires for who you want to be and what you want to do during your brief time on this planet. You then use these core values to guide, motivate, and inspire behavioral change.
What is Vedanta?
Vedanta is one of the world's oldest philosophies which affirms the oneness of existence and the divinity of the soul. A close look at the word "Vedanta" is revealing: It is the combination of 2 words: "Veda" which means 'knowledge' and "anta" which means 'the goal of'. In this context, knowledge refers to understanding one's own divine nature- meaning and purpose in life.
Asking for help is one of the most courageous things you can do for yourself. Life can be stressful, and you can feel pulled in many different directions.
Being an African American man growing up in Los Angeles, I have faced my share of challenges and obstacles and when stress sets in, I understand that even the smallest pebble can feel like a major Boulder. I come from a traditional family where men and oftentimes women are discouraged from seeking help to deal with life's struggles and stresses. I aim to fill that void and change that narrative.
I empower Men, Women and Families to seek to understand their struggles, anxieties and life challenges and to overcome them.

Hello, my name is Mario and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been working as a therapist since 2021 but have been working in the mental health field since 2011 in various roles (e.g., Child Specialist, Intensive Care Coordinator) for different programs including Wraparound, IFCCS, Outreach Triage Team and others.
Since 2021, I have worked with children and teenagers struggling with PTSD, anxiety and depression. I have also worked with adults all ages starting from 2024 for workers compensation cases, marital problems, men's issues, PTSD, anxiety and depression. I am bi-lingual speaking (English and Spanish) and was raised in Los Angeles.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping individuals, families, and couples rewrite unhelpful narratives, reconnect with their strengths, and rediscover hope and happiness in their lives. To name a few, I use Narrative Therapy, CBT, and EMDR to support healing, clarity, and lasting change within yourself, in relationships, and in the community you prefer. Together, we’ll explore the feelings you’re experiencing, identify the barriers that are holding you back, and develop tools to help you cope with the challenges you’re facing.
My work is rooted in self-empowerment through a client-centered, strength-based approach. I believe our past shapes our present. By understanding your story, healing what’s unresolved, and planning intentionally for the future, you can move toward a more joyful, fulfilling, and authentic life. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where you can build confidence, process trauma, and create meaningful, sustainable change in the way that is healthy, that works for you and all you hold dear.
Hello, I’m Cesar.
Do you feel overwhelmed with life’s challenges and feel you are being pulled in a million directions? Are you looking to restore balance to your life and mind? Has your self-esteem taken a hit due to the constant changes and expectations of society? Are you looking to improve or change the trajectory of your life?
I work with adults who experience mental health concerns that range from anxiety, depression, impulse control, inattentiveness, trauma, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges and difficulties with establishing healthy boundaries. Together, we can restore your psychological and emotional health along with devising a plan to help achieve your goals. We will explore underlying concerns that are driving destructive behaviors and develop effective ways to improve overall functioning in all environments.
Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives.
I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. I have also spent 2 years working with foster youth and foster parents in providing support to their placements, promoting healing and preserving relationships.
Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.

With over 40 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I aim to help people listen to their inner voice. It is important to develop self-knowledge of the path that feels right for you. I provide therapy to individuals, children, adolescents, and families, addressing a wide range of concerns, including depression and anxiety across the lifespan, relationship difficulties, family conflict, stress management, life transitions, grief, and trauma. Hi! I’m a licensed psychotherapist (LPCC) based in Berkeley CA and serving clients statewide via Telehealth. I have over 20 years of experience working and volunteering in community mental health, and have been practicing as a psychotherapist since January 2018. I received my Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in 2019 and my Bachelors in Psychology from Reed College in 2010, and have been licensed since February 2023.
I am trained as an integrative psychotherapist and work holistically and relationally. I believe all facets of life are (naturally) interrelated--emotional, cognitive, relational, cultural, physical/physiological, spiritual, societal/political, existential. I incorporate orientations, frameworks and insights from across the field: attachment-based (psychodynamic), somatic (Polyvagal, Somatic Experiencing, neuroscience), humanistic, mindfulness, gestalt, self-psychology, ACT, DBT, CBT, systems, existential, holistic/spiritual perspectives and wisdom like Buddhism, narrative, human needs perspectives like self-determination theory, communication frameworks like NVC and insights from the Gottmans, and paradigms and perspectives on social justice like feminism, analysis of power and privilege, intersectionality, intergenerational and societal trauma, psychological/emotional/verbal abuse, narcissism/scapegoating/othering etc.
I am guided by a trauma-informed approach that aims to foster empowering client-centered, collaborative, transparent and intersubjective relational conditions that I believe support people’s natural ability to experience safety, connection, and authentic actualization. My work is informed by a lifetime of deep inquiry into human needs and the complex ways familial, social, cultural, economic and biological contexts inform how they may be nurtured, supported, neglected or actively or insidiously contravened. I believe that human attachments and early life experiences, as well as structural power dynamics in social/societal systems, are typically foundationally informative to the bridge or gap between trauma/suffering and thriving in safety and connection. I think humanness and understanding of / respect for these facts, alone, can be a healing provision of therapy relationship.
As a working mom and therapist, I understand the intricate balance of managing personal and professional responsibilities. My experiences as a parent inform my practice, allowing me to connect deeply with clients who face similar challenges. I create a supportive and empathetic environment where we can explore the complexities of your life, including the demands of work, family, and self-care. Together, we will navigate your journey toward balance and fulfillment, honoring your unique experiences and aspirations. I am here to help you develop strategies that fit your life, fostering resilience and personal growth along the way.
My name is April Cobb. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm here to assist, encourage and support you on your mental health healing journey. I create a supportive environment for clients to share, find acceptance and move towards the change and life you wish to see. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one approach I use in session. I believe in this approach because I believe if you can change your thoughts, your behavior will also change. I'm here to help you navigate the process.
