Welcome! I am a bilingual (Spanish), Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I have practiced in forensic, hospital and outpatient clinical settings. I provide therapeutic services to adults in areas such as Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Grief, Stress, and self-esteem. I incorporate several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strength-Based which are tailored to your specific needs.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first few sessions we will be spent making sure I am the right therapist for you, and that you're comfortable with me. I will be asking questions about your life and background. If you're anxious or depressed, I will ask whether it interferes with your family, work and social life. I'll also ask about events that may be related to your problems, treatments you've had, and what you would like to achieve through therapy.

I specialize in working with adult women and men who may not feel aligned with where they operate from mentally and emotionally. I provide a safe and comfortable space for my clients to reconnect with their inner self and empower themselves to build a sense of self.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
After the initial assessment period, you'll start working to break down problems into their separate parts. To help with this, you may be asked keep a diary or write down your thought and behavior patterns. We will analyze your thoughts, feelings and behaviors to work out if they're unrealistic or unhelpful and to determine the effect they have on each other and on you. Your therapist will be able to help you work out how to change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
