I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I have received my Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University Long Beach. I specialize in supporting individuals facing dual diagnosis related to substance use and mental health.
This includes challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress management, family dynamics, addiction, and overall life management. My approach is compassionate, professional, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Experiencing diverse cultures, I've had the privilege to visit many countries in Europe, lived in Asia and Argentina.
I am trilingual, fluent in languages: English, Farsi, and Pashto.
Living in different countries, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, has added to my awareness to be mindfulness about the cultural aspects that can influence one's life.
This approach will be utilized through, Cognitive-behavioral Model, a strengths-based approaches, and by mindfulness practices.
I will consider life transitions, then explore what areas in your life need to improve, identify the necessary tools and coping skills that best work. This will help you to a more balanced life.
I will also utilize a holistic and client-centered approach by focusing on empathy for my clients, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard.
Therefore, I aim to create a safe, trusting space to help overcome issues and highlight your strengths leading to growth.
