Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Duquesne University and then Marywood University. As a counselor/therapist I work with adults as they navigate the anxieties of life and relationships. I help people identify and assess the thinking/thoughts that bother them and interrupt their relationships with their family or at work. I have studied and used different therapeutic approaches to support persons at different stages of growth. I am not accepting couples at this time.
Are you feeling anxious, depressed, or just not ok. Are you overwhelmed trying to manage life's ebbs and flows? Do you have repetitious thoughts despite efforts to push them aside? Living with uncertainty while experiencing so many different feelings can be exhausting. I offer culturally sensitive services to clients of all socioeconomic backgrounds and abilities in a respectful, safe, supportive space.
Together, we will work to identify your presenting concerns and the internalized belief systems impacting how you address your them. Approaches designed to meet your specific needs, will be drawn from psychodynamic, art, mindfulness and somatic modalities.
I hope my supportive, non-judgemental, and warm approach will support your work in clarifying goals and gaining insights and skills to reach them.
I’m Kimberly M. Brooks, LCSW. I help adults and couples facing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship strain, and emotional overwhelm find clarity and peace. My style is warm, direct, and grounding. I offer practical tools, honest insight, and optional faith-integrated support to help you heal, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with confidence. Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm space I create, the clarity that comes from honest conversations, and the steady guidance that helps them move forward.
I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m Shannon, a licensed psychotherapist and certified yoga therapist. I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck in their relationships, or disconnected from themselves.
If you tend to overthink, feel anxious in connection, or shut down when things get hard—you’re not alone. Together, we slow things down so you can understand what’s actually happening inside you, and learn how to feel more like yourself again.
My work blends talk therapy with body awareness, because real change doesn’t just happen in your head—it happens when you can feel it.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families. I began my work in community-based public mental health, serving underserved populations, and that foundation continues to shape how I show up today—with care, respect, and a real understanding of life’s complexities. My background includes working with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma, so I’m comfortable supporting both early or emerging concerns and ongoing mental health conditions. I’ve worked extensively with low-income communities, immigrants, and individuals from diverse cultural and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds. I also have a strong background working with mothers, particularly single mothers, who are navigating their own mental health while supporting children or adult children with their own challenges. My approach is collaborative and strength-based—I focus on helping you build on what’s already working while developing practical tools you can use in your daily life. I aim to create a space that is calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can show up as you are, speak openly, and process what you’re going through while also building practical tools to better navigate everyday life.
I am a down-to-earth and collaborative therapist who believes that the foundation of effective healing is a genuine, honest connection. I prioritize creating a transparent environment where you feel heard and respected, allowing us to work as true partners in your mental health journey. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when it is practical, straightforward, and focused on your unique reality.
In our sessions, I value honesty and the identification of healthy, realistic goals. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we work together to uncover the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying irrational thinking patterns and challenging negative self-talk, we can begin to reframe your narrative in a way that serves your growth rather than hindering it.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, which is why I focus on providing a non-judgmental space where we can tackle challenges at your pace. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, daily stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide you with a functional toolkit of strategies you can use long after our sessions end. Together, we will move toward a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life.
I am a Latinx therapist who began practicing in 2013 and have experience helping people heal and continue on their mental health journeys. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values authenticity, connection, and creating a space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I have experience providing in-person and telehealth therapy services to pregnant and parenting mothers as well as individuals with severe mental illness who needed follow-up after hospitalization or just an on-going therapeutic relationship. As a member of the Queer community, I enjoy working with others who identify within that population. I have experience working with grief, end of life support for individuals as well as their family.

I am a certified EMDR therapist specializing in the treatment of trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, and relational distress. Through EMDR therapy, I help clients safely process distressing memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and develop healthier beliefs about themselves and their relationships.
My experience includes working extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating complex emotional and relational challenges, including divorce, co-parenting difficulties, childhood trauma, attachment injuries, and family conflict. In couples therapy, I focus on how past trauma and unmet attachment needs can impact communication, emotional safety, trust, and connection within relationships.
My professional background in community mental health provided extensive experience supporting diverse populations facing significant emotional, relational, and environmental stressors. This foundation continues to shape my commitment to providing culturally responsive, compassionate, and clinically sound care tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals.
I integrate EMDR with attachment-focused, strengths-based, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support healing and lasting change. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
My goal is to help clients move beyond survival patterns, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and experience greater emotional balance, self-understanding, and overall well-being.

Hello, I am Kathleen.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward?
Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful.
Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself.
Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others.
In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.
I’ve been licensed since March 2019, however I’ve been working in this field since 2013 (starting out in various schools: elementary, middle and high schools). I work with kids, teens, adults, couples and families.
I enjoy helping people with symptoms of anxiety, depression and who are going through a life transition. I try to teach tools and empower clients to make the changes they need in their lives to have a quality and meaningful relationship with themselves and others.
Therapy is a process and a journey and committing to this is the biggest and most rewarding step any human can take. I will be there to support the client through the stages of change (the ups and downs) and witness their transformation. Thank you for trusting me to be part of this process.
