Hi, I am Sandy Ortiz, LCSW, I specialize in helping adults navigate depression and anxiety challenges. My approach combines a warmth, compassion, empathetic, and evidenced-based therapy like CBT. Additionally, I also promote mindfulness to foster grounding. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can fully express yourself, gain insight, and empower yourself and gain personal growth. I acquired my Master's in Social Work from USC and have been practicing since 2014.
On our first session it will give us an opportunity for introductions and to get to know you and discuss goals.
My strengths are empathy, compassion, active listening, collaboration, and communication skills.
My dream client is someone who is receptive to collaborating and being open-minded to trying new things.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
By utilizing CBT it allows us to see the relationship we have between our thoughts, behaviors and feelings. Therefore, we can begin to focus on reframing unhelpful thoughts which in return it can improve our emotions and behavior. Thus, our thoughts become more positive which in return it improves our lives.
