LMFT, 14 years of experience
Hello, and welcome. I’m a licensed psychotherapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I work with facing a wide range of concerns—including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions—and I tailor my approach to meet each person’s unique needs. My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. Drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based approaches, I work with clients to uncover patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens within a safe, trusting relationship. I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported—whether you’re working through a difficult period or seeking deeper self-understanding and growth.
In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to work on, any current challenges you're facing, and your goals for our work together. I’ll ask some questions to help guide the conversation, but there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. This initial session is also a chance for you to get a feel for me and how I work. I want you to feel comfortable, safe, and supported as we begin this process. Together, we’ll start to build a foundation of trust and begin identifying the areas you’d like to explore more deeply in future sessions. By the end of our time, we’ll discuss possible next steps and how therapy can be tailored to fit your needs. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance
What stands out about my approach is the balance I bring between deep insight and practical tools. I draw from evidence-based methods like CBT, mindfulness, and attachment-focused therapies, but I always tailor my work to fit the unique needs, pace, and goals of each client. My clients often share that they feel truly seen and understood in our sessions, and that this sense of safety helps them open up in ways they hadn’t been able to before. I focus not only on symptom relief, but on helping clients get to the root of patterns—whether emotional, relational, or behavioral—that keep them feeling stuck. Together, we work toward meaningful, lasting change by building self-awareness, developing new coping strategies, and fostering greater self-compassion. What makes therapy with me different is the combination of depth, warmth, and practicality. I bring a grounded presence, a curious mind, and a strong belief in each person’s ability to heal and grow.
I’m best positioned to support individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—whether from themselves, others, or a sense of purpose. Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-worth, or the lingering effects of trauma. Some are navigating life transitions or seeking deeper meaning and direction. I also work well with clients who are curious, introspective, and open to self-exploration—even if they’re unsure where to start. Whether you're looking for practical coping tools, emotional healing, or personal growth, I offer a space that balances insight and action. My approach is especially supportive for those who want to better understand patterns from their past, improve how they relate to themselves and others, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my work, I tailor CBT interventions to meet each client's unique needs and goals. This often includes helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenging cognitive distortions, and learning to replace them with more balanced and constructive thinking. I also incorporate behavioral techniques such as exposure, activity scheduling, and skills training to reinforce lasting change.
Attachment-Based Therapy is an important part of my work, particularly when addressing relationship issues, developmental trauma, and challenges rooted in early emotional experiences. My approach is grounded in understanding how early attachment patterns influence a person's sense of self, their relationships, and their ability to regulate emotions. In practice, I use attachment-based therapy to create a secure, attuned therapeutic relationship that allows clients to explore and process experiences of disconnection, neglect, or inconsistent caregiving.
Psychodynamic therapy is a core influence in my clinical work. I use it to help clients explore how unconscious patterns, early relational experiences, and past events continue to shape their current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. In practice, I create a safe and reflective space where clients can gain insight into recurring themes in their lives—often rooted in unresolved conflicts or attachment wounds. I pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship itself, as it often mirrors dynamics from early life, providing a powerful opportunity for healing and growth.
Mindfulness-based therapy is a valuable part of my clinical approach, particularly in helping clients develop greater awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. I incorporate mindfulness principles to support clients in becoming more present with their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations—without judgment. In practice, I often guide clients through mindfulness exercises such as breath awareness, body scans, or grounding techniques, either during sessions or as part of their daily routines. These practices help clients slow down, observe their internal experiences more clearly, and respond rather than react to stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions.
