New to Grow
I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 2018 and have worked in the social work field since 2015. I began my therapy practice in 2022, specializing in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. While it may sound cliché, I am genuinely passionate about helping clients find relief in the moment while also making small, practical changes that support lasting improvement over time. My therapeutic style is warm, approachable, and grounded in a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe and supported.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take things at your pace and focus on helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling hard, and what you’re hoping to achieve together. I’ll explain therapy style, the kinds of tools we might use, and you’ll have space to ask questions. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and typically end with beginnings of goal setting.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am a social worker first and foremost. I have an understanding of how life stressors, limited resources, and lack of support can impact mental health. I bring empathy and compassion to the work while also being clear and supportive in helping clients set boundaries and make meaningful changes. I don’t promise quick fixes; instead, I focus on steady, sustainable progress. I believe in “progress, not perfection,” and work collaboratively with clients to build skills and insight that support long-term growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Adult clients who have struggled with anxiety, self-esteem, depression and those going through life stressors.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Sometimes our thoughts can get the best of us when dealing with anxiety, depression or life stressors. I will help you challenge those unhelpful thoughts by recognizing patterns and take action at your pace.
