¡Hablo Español! Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Roxana, and I’m a first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in Southern California. I proudly served in the Marine Corps and have been working in mental health since 2012, providing case management to individuals facing homelessness and severe mental illness. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings throughout Riverside County, including Domestic Violence and Forensic Mental Health, where I worked closely with men in the Criminal Justice System. During my practicum, I provided individual counseling to military members, veterans, and first responders, helping them address relationship conflicts, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as Gottman Relationship Method (Level 1). However, I believe that effective therapy begins with a genuine, person-to-person connection—one that builds trust, fosters open communication, and creates a sense of safety and mutual respect. My goal is to create a space where clients feel truly seen and valued, and I occasionally use humor to support meaningful therapeutic work that fosters long-lasting growth and change. Thank you again for visiting my profile—it would be an honor to work with you!

Hi, I’m Brittnay. I am a licensed therapist providing culturally grounded, intersectional mental health support across California. As a Black, queer practitioner, my practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens when you can bring your entire, authentic self into the room. Navigating a world that often demands compliance can be exhausting. That is why I offer an unapologetic, trauma-informed space where your lived experiences as a QTBIPOC individual are not just understood, but honored. Together, we will work through life’s complexities without you ever needing to explain your basic identity. Whether you are looking to process minority stress, heal from trauma, or navigate relationships, I am here to walk alongside you. You do not have to do this work alone. Let's build a space where you can feel deeply seen, safe, and supported.

Hello, I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that). At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy. As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran. Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.

Welcome, my name is Kiran and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #28451) with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in and provide mental health support to people dealing with fertility issues, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2002. In 2005, I started working on the maternal-child health floor in a hospital setting where I was able to help patients experiencing grief, loss, postpartum depression, and medical trauma. My passion truly lies in working with individuals going through their journeys and challenges in pregnancy, childbirth, any type of loss, adoptions, or surrogacies. In 2019, I struggled with my own loss of losing my father and felt it was the right time to move on from the medical field in the hospital setting to a smaller medical setting. Working as a preceptor in this new smaller medical setting, I quickly realized that this was not my calling as I began to miss working with the perinatal population. Soon after, I was given an opportunity to provide mental health therapy to the perinatal population and I believe this remains my calling. I am of Asian descent and love learning about everyone's family histories, cultures, foods, etc.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Pasadena, passionate about helping people move past the patterns that make them feel "stuck." As an Asian American therapist, I understand the unique pressures of navigating cultural expectations, family dynamics, and the pursuit of success. Life often feels like a constant cycle of trying to keep up—with professional demands, relationships, or heavy expectations. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to "perform" or have all the answers. Instead, we can slow down and really look at what’s happening beneath the surface of your life. I work with introspective individuals ready for deeper change. Many of my clients are high-achievers who have "made it" on the outside, but internally battle feelings of shame, people-pleasing, or boundary struggles. Whether you’re processing complex family history, navigating identity challenges, or feeling burnt out, I’m here to walk alongside you. My approach blends two core principles: understanding your history and listening to your body. I use an intersubjective approach, which means we work together—using our relationship as a window into how you connect with the world. I also integrate the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) to help you get more comfortable in your own skin. This is about more than just insight; it’s about learning to calm your nervous system so you can navigate life without feeling constantly on edge. Ultimately, I want to help you move toward a life that feels authentically yours. By bringing hidden patterns into the light, we can reclaim your stability and freedom. You don’t have to carry the weight of the past alone.

Hello, my name is Megan. I appreciate you taking the leap to want to do something different in your life. I know how hard talking about some of these big life issues can be like the death of our person, living through the struggle of infertility and acknowledging the weight of our anxiety is too much. Sometimes, we are stuck in our loop and yet, we do not have the perspective how to shift the big feelings to make you start to feel better. In the beginning of working together, I want you to feel comfortable sharing your story. Everyone arrives wanting a witness to their grieving at different stages of their process. Your relationship is to different each person had a different relationship to their person. I believe the importance of listening to what is said in the room or what is not said. Many times we are not able to verbalize our pain of trying to live without our person. I think a very necessary part to our healing is to be witnessed by another. My goal is to always create safety in the room. I am a fairly transparent therapist sharing sometimes my personal journey to connect and help clients realize they are not alone in their pain. I look forward to joining you in your healing journey.

My work is personal. Instead of seeing clients as a number, I hold space for the parts of life that are hard to process, heal, or acknowledge. I often incorporate structured exercises and between-session practices to help you apply what we discuss in real life, while remaining flexible and responsive to your individual needs. Clients often appreciate that I am clear, consistent, and gently persistent—I will meet you where you are, while continuing to support and encourage your growth, even when things feel difficult or overwhelming. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and confidence so you can create a more stable, fulfilling, and peaceful life. I am committed to practicing with empathy, respect, and without judgment, honoring each person’s dignity and lived experience. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you. I offer biblical counseling for those who want a Christian perspective and bible-based counseling.
