Hellooo! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist living in Virginia. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2008.
I have lived in many different places but mostly I grew up in eastern North Carolina and Europe. Having parents from western New York and southern West Virginia, I was raised in a "northern" household in a "southern" environment. I like to think these contrasts in my life have helped me learn to adapt and identify with many different types of people. While I value the privilege of being an American, I love what other nationalities contribute to my world. Standing beside my clients and walking with them through their difficult times is one of my greatest joys.

Through therapy, I aim to foster self-awareness, build coping strategies, and strengthen resilience, ultimately helping you find greater balance and fulfillment in your everyday life.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or past experiences that still affect you today, you don’t have to carry it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and supported.
My work is grounded in cultural awareness, compassion, and honesty. I use approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care, but I focus less on labels and more on what actually helps you feel better in your daily life. Together, we look at patterns that feel stuck and gently challenge the beliefs or experiences that may be holding you back.
I take a collaborative and active approach to therapy. That means we work as a team. I will support you at a pace that feels safe, while also encouraging insight, practical tools, and meaningful change that lasts beyond our sessions.

Looking through these many profiles can be difficult and draining. Thanks for being here. If you are struggling and unable to control your worries or feeling anxious and as if your stress never eases up, I hope we connect. I respect this and offer a supportive environment which is always free from judgement. I appreciate your time and hope you find who you need in these profiles.

My role is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, build practical skills, and move toward a life aligned with your values and meaningful to you.
I describe myself as a grounded, authentic, and collaborative therapist who balances a warm heart with a highly practical, real world approach to healing. My life is full, beautifully chaotic, and deeply rewarding. As a spouse and a mother of four, including a wonderful child who is autistic, I intimately understand what it feels like to manage a million moving parts. Because of these lived experiences, I bring a deeply human, judgment-free perspective to my practice.
In sessions, we will use evidence-based tools like CBT and DBT to actively build a practical toolkit for your daily life. We will work as a team to quiet the internal noise, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and master concrete skills to regulate intense emotions.
For clients who desire it, I gladly incorporate a Christ-centered approach, utilizing scripture and prayer as an anchor for our clinical work. However, if you are currently facing a painful crisis of faith or spiritual burnout, I offer a safe harbor to process those doubts without a shred of judgment.
Ultimately, I meet you exactly where you are. My goal is to help you calm the chaos, break through emotional blocks, and reclaim your peace.

Welcome! I'm Zena Jones
Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides virtual therapy for adults, with a special passion for supporting women navigating anxiety, depression, executive dysfunction, life transitions, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strength-based interventions, I help clients increase confidence in their ability to manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I am an AK amputee, a person with a disability, a disabled person, a one-legged person, or as medical folks will say a person with a "residual limb" (I have never heard an amputee call their stump a residual limb). If you have been looking for a therapist and you see the photo they choose to put on their page, how many put their disability in their photo? That choice says something. I am also a psychotherapist with 50 years experience of providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and families. My identity shifted 10 years ago when my right leg was amputated above the knee (AK). The identity as a disabled person is not a sought after identity. In many ways being disabled sucks big time. Providing telehealth services would be one way for me to "hide" my disability. Just never point the camera toward my leg. I don't like my experience of me just walking into a room and my leg has already introduced me long before I say my name. I am looking for clients that are disabled in some way and want to work on not letting that "disability label " suck your lifeblood away.
I have been a mental health professional for more than twenty years, working with individuals who often find themselves at a crossroads and unsure where to begin in addressing what they are feeling. My experience spans a variety of settings, including community mental health, public schools, disability services, and outpatient care. These experiences have allowed me to work with people from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges. I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I believe everyone deserves a place where they feel safe, heard, and supported. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, I am passionate about helping adults navigate addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life's many challenges and transitions. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where we can work together to build hope, healing, and lasting change. I have a special passion for working with adults in recovery, military members, veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and individuals living with both mental health and substance use concerns. Whether you're facing a recent life change, feeling stuck, or have been carrying emotional pain for years, you don't have to face it alone. Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore what's getting in the way, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with confidence. My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention strategies. I believe therapy is most effective when it combines compassion with practical skills that you can apply in your everyday life. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in intensive outpatient treatment, substance use recovery, and clinical leadership. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the resilience of the people I serve and reinforced my belief that meaningful change is possible, even during life's most difficult moments. Clients often describe me as approachable, compassionate, genuine, and easy to talk to. I believe healing begins with a trusting relationship, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients as they rediscover their strengths, overcome challenges, and create lives that feel healthier, more balanced, and more fulfilling.
I use several treatment modalities including, but not limited to; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Positive Psychology, and EFT Tapping. I am a strengths-based and client-centered therapist that believes my role as a therapist is to provide unwavering support for my clients. I am experienced in working with clients who present with mood disorders, depression, panic and anxiety, neurodiversity, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and other mental health issues. I have 5+ years of experience working with diverse populations which includes Teens 13+, Young Adults, and Active-Duty Military Personnel. I am also a credentialed Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator and Qualified RCSWI Supervisor.
I am excited to spend this time with you during your time of need. I believe therapy is a great tool to help you work through some of the difficulties that you face. I am a firm believer that once you have some good tools in place you will find yourself capable of handling anything life throws your way. I only will serve evening and some weekend hours.

Hello! My name is Kim. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC).
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to the well-being of the individuals I serve. In my therapy practice, I work with individuals that report anxiety, stress, depression, interpersonal relational concerns, occupational challenges, difficulty maintaining boundaries, and other conditions. For support, I offer cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in individual therapy sessions.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker, Veteran, and the founder of Beacon Behavioral Therapy, PLLC, where I provide therapy for adults and students navigating life transitions, work-related or academic stress, burnout, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. I also specialize in supporting individuals in high-stress roles such as military, law enforcement, first responders, caregivers, and healthcare and helping professionals. As a Veteran myself, I understand what it is like to work in mission focused environments
My approach is collaborative and practical, drawing from CBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand what they’re experiencing, build effective coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable changes in their daily lives. I focus on creating a supportive space where clients can slow down, gain clarity, and work at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in military and government environments, which informs my understanding of high-pressure systems and the challenges faced by professionals in demanding roles I understand what it’s like to work in mission-focused environments where you’re expected to keep going and perform under pressure, even when things are difficult. That perspective informs my work with clients who are used to carrying a lot, pushing through stress, and not always having space to process their own experiences while continuing to show up for others.

My style of therapy is very eclectic and person centered, meaning, I focus on the needs of the individual rather than using the same approach on each person. I do believe in a Cognitive Behavioral Approach as well as Solution Focused therapy because a shift in the mind is key as well as finding appropriate solutions to help move you forward. You are my number one priority!
TAKE EVENING CLIENTS!
I am a licensed Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist, Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), with more than 20 years of experience helping adolescents, young adults, individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused, providing a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
I specialize in working with adolescents who are struggling with peer relationships, bullying, self-esteem, identity development, anxiety, emotional regulation, and family conflict. I also enjoy helping young adults navigate major life transitions, including returning home after college, adjusting to adulthood, launching careers, developing independence, and managing changing family dynamics.
For adults, I provide therapy for anxiety, depression, stress management, work-life balance, life transitions, relationship concerns, and personal growth. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by work demands, experiencing burnout, struggling with communication, or trying to regain balance in your personal life, I work collaboratively with you to develop practical strategies that support long-term emotional wellness.
I have extensive experience working with couples at every stage of their relationship, including dating, premarital counseling, marriage, intimacy concerns, communication difficulties, conflict resolution, infidelity recovery, and rebuilding emotional and physical connection. As an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, I also help couples address sexual concerns, desire differences, intimacy challenges, and other sensitive topics with professionalism, compassion, and without judgment.
I earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University and a Master of Arts in Military Psychology from Adler University. I am licensed in both Virginia and New York and hold certifications in Divorce Mediation and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and family systems theory to create individualized treatment plans for each client.
