New to Grow
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in youth residential treatment, adult PHP/IOP programs, and outpatient therapy for all ages since 2022. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can build skills, overcome challenges, and achieve meaningful growth. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and individuals from diverse and minority backgrounds, as well as providing individual, couples, and family therapy.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you are met exactly where you are. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. Together, we’ll begin building a comfortable foundation and a plan that fits your needs and goals.
As a therapist who has also participated in my own therapy, I bring a personal understanding of what it is like to sit in the client role. This helps me approach sessions with empathy, authenticity, and a strong focus on building trust. I aim to create a warm, approachable, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My style is collaborative and personable, and I strive to meet clients where they are while supporting them in building insight, confidence, and meaningful change.
I am best positioned to work with adolescents, adults, and families who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and are seeking meaningful change in their lives. My ideal clients may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, trauma, or difficulties managing emotions. They are often looking to gain a better understanding of themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, improve their relationships, and create a greater sense of balance and fulfillment. Whether clients are facing a specific challenge or pursuing personal growth, I provide a supportive, collaborative environment where they can build on their strengths and work toward their goals with confidence and purpose.
Other specialties
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients navigate difficult thoughts and emotions while staying connected to their values and goals. ACT emphasizes mindfulness, self-compassion, and practical strategies that promote resilience, emotional flexibility, and meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges. CBT provides practical tools and strategies that can help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and other concerns while building confidence and resilience.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better manage overwhelming emotions, navigate difficult situations, and strengthen their relationships. DBT teaches practical skills for staying present, handling distress in healthy ways, communicating effectively, and responding to challenges without becoming overwhelmed. These tools can help clients feel more in control and confident in their daily lives.
Psychoeducation
I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand what they're experiencing and why. Whether we're discussing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationships, or other concerns, I provide information and tools that can help clients make sense of their experiences, build self-awareness, and feel more confident in managing challenges.
