I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Master Addiction Counselor with over 23 years of professional experience working with both military and civilians. I have worked in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, inpatient and outpatient clinics, and extensive work with the military. She works with adults (18+) individually and couples to address stress, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, and PTSD. Techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Prolonged Exposure.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After introductions, we will discuss what's on your mind and why you came to Grow Therapy. This will help me to develop a plan that focuses on what is most important to you. As we continue to work together, I will adjust and make changes to better fit your learning style and what will help you the most.

I have been a clinical Social Worker for over 20 years. During this time I have been able to develop my skills to the become a very effective clinician. My passion is working with the military and helping those who have served. I have a good understanding of military life that is beneficial to must clients.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is a form of therapy that utilizes working with your thoughts in feelings instead of fighting them. Negative thoughts and feelings are allowed to run in the background while you continue to life your life to the fullest.

Christian Counseling

I am a very active Catholic in my church and would love to incorporate your love of Jesus into our work together. I respect all Christian beliefs regardless of your chosen background.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT will help with negative thoughts and feels and working on coping skills to reduce or eliminate these thoughts and feelings.

Faith based therapy
