New to Grow
About Me I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Hypnotherapist with experience supporting adults and veterans through anxiety, stress, life transitions, trauma, and personal growth. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized, combining evidence-based therapy with hypnotherapy and other mind-body techniques. I meet clients where they are, helping them recognize their strengths, develop practical tools, and create meaningful, lasting change. My Ideal Client My ideal client is an adult who is ready for support and wants to better understand themselves, overcome challenges, or make positive changes in their life. I especially enjoy working with veterans and individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, confidence issues, life transitions, and feeling stuck. How I Work I believe therapy should be a partnership rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we identify your goals and develop a plan that fits your needs, using approaches such as CBT, ACT, IEMT, somatic techniques, and hypnotherapy when appropriate. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel understood, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
What to Expect in Your First Session Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, goals, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish. We’ll work together to determine an approach that fits your needs and comfort level. Most importantly, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and begin taking the first steps toward positive change.
What Makes My Sessions Unique I believe therapy is about both feeling supported and being willing to grow. I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can be heard without judgment, while also gently challenging you when needed to help you see new perspectives and move beyond patterns that may be holding you back. I meet you where you are, honor your pace, and use a personalized combination of therapeutic approaches to help you build insight, confidence, and meaningful change. My goal is not simply to help you feel better, but to help you feel empowered to move forward.
My Ideal Client I work with adults at different stages of life who are ready to take an active role in their growth and well-being. My ideal client is open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns and is willing to work toward meaningful change, even when that process feels uncomfortable at times. They may be navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, life transitions, confidence, or simply feel stuck and want something different. I work best with clients who want therapy to be collaborative, practical, and honest—providing a space to feel supported while also being gently challenged when needed.
My Approach to Therapy I use an eclectic, individualized approach to therapy, drawing from different evidence-based therapeutic methods based on each client’s needs, goals, and preferences. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach, so we work together to find what is most helpful for you. My sessions balance holding space with gentle challenge—providing compassion and understanding while encouraging you to explore new perspectives, recognize patterns, and work toward meaningful change.
