Licensed to practice in Virginia and accepts 28 insurances. Specializes in Depression, Women's Issues, Coping Skills
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with eight years of experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, women’s issues—including perinatal and postpartum challenges—cultural and racial identity concerns, and the everyday stress that can feel overwhelming. I work with adults and teenagers from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow.
During our first session, my goal is to get to know you—who you are, what your needs and goals are, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll talk about your expectations, and I’ll share how I can support you on your journey toward healing and growth. Together, we’ll also begin partnering on a treatment plan that’s tailored to your unique goals, ensuring that our work stays focused and meaningful.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where you can show up just as you are—without judgment. I bring warmth, compassion, and a deep understanding of how things like culture, identity, stress, and life transitions can impact your well-being. I’m especially passionate about supporting adults and teenagers who are figuring out who they are, mothers who feel pulled in every direction, and individuals of color who may not always feel heard or understood. In our work together, we’ll explore what you need, what you’re hoping for, and how I can best support you. Therapy is a team effort, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we make sense of things and move toward healing.
I have a deep passion for working with adults and teenagers who are navigating questions of identity, purpose, and coping in the face of adversity. I especially enjoy supporting mothers who feel overwhelmed by the many demands placed on them, helping them find space to breathe and reconnect with themselves. I am also committed to working with individuals of color whose voices are often unheard, creating a space where they feel seen, valued, and empowered. At the core of my work is a strong desire to support healing, growth, and resilience.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach by viewing the individual as a whole, not just their symptoms, offering empathy, and meeting each person where they are with unconditional positive regard and respect for their unique experiences.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT interventions to help individuals with depression, anxiety, and related concerns by identifying cognitive distortions, using the ABC model to examine thoughts and beliefs, and supporting thought restructuring to improve emotional and behavioral outcomes.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support individuals who express ambivalence or need to be challenged, helping them explore their values, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen their motivation for change in a collaborative and nonjudgmental manner.
