There's a reason they say "It takes a village to raise a child."
Parenting has lots of ups & downs and moments of uncertainty. Needless to say, it can get overwhelming. But there's no need to navigate these challenging times alone. I proudly serve parents & children who are struggling with big emotions & behaviors, developmental transitions, and/or child/adult mental health issues.
I strive to create a therapeutic atmosphere where individuals feel seen & heard. Through child-centered therapy, I can begin to communicate with your child and help guide them as s/he/they make sense of their feelings and behaviors.
But parents & caregivers need support, too!
Parent sessions are a time to focus on you & your experiences without judgment (and without kiddos). These sessions are flexible and can be a place for you to decompress, to ask Qs or explore parenting styles & strategies. I'm happy to meet in person or virtually.
I help high achieving individuals regulate stress, manage burnout, and rebuild identity so they can lead and live without feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected.
With over 15 years of experience in education, leadership, and counseling, I understand the mental toll that demands from career and daily life can take on you. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and resilience training to help you rebuild calm, confidence, and clarity.
I see you. You're exhausted from second-guessing every decision. Your inner critic is loud and mean. In general, your thoughts are loud and racing. Getting out of bed some days feels impossible. You're disconnected—from your body, from your younger selves, from what you want.
Here's what we'll do together: We'll quiet that critic. Rebuild your trust in yourself. Process the hard stuff and spot the patterns keeping you stuck. You'll get clear on what matters to you—then use that as your compass.
I bring warmth, humor, and real talk. I'm here to listen and gently challenge you. We'll work with your whole self—mind, body, values—so you can stop second-guessing, feel lighter, and remember your own strength. It's time to decide what deserves your energy, and what doesn't.

Hi! I'm Melissa, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Texas Pan-American and have been practicing for over 8 years now. I help adults and teens struggling with life changes, anxiety, self-harming, stressors and depression become the best versions of themselves. I believe strongly that therapy in itself can foster an individuals drive to life and goals by providing you the space to openly express and develop the mindset and skills to enhance your strengths and reach those goals.
Starting therapy can take courage, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood, judged, or unsupported in the past. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are — a place that feels safe, affirming, and genuinely supportive. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ folks, women, and anyone navigating the impacts of trauma, identity-based stress, or systems that haven’t always made space for them.
In our work together, we’ll move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. Therapy with me is collaborative — you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to support you with tools, perspective, and care as you make sense of your experiences and move toward the life you want. Some of the approaches I draw from include EMDR for trauma processing, DBT for building coping and emotional regulation skills, and The Daring Way™ work around vulnerability, courage, and living in alignment with your values.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. That’s okay — we’ll figure it out together. Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and build the skills you need to move forward.
If you’re curious about working together, I’d love to connect. Whoever you are, you are welcome here.
Hi. I'm Steve.
Do you ever wonder why, no matter how many different things you've tried, you fall back into old behaviors that hurt you and/or those you love? Do you wonder why your emotions take over and leave you feeling incapable or overwhelmed? Do your emotions get in the way of effectively communicating when it matters the most?
We all face questions like this, and the most fulfilling part of my work is helping people like you find answers to those questions. I don’t have any “one-size-fits-all” solutions, but together we will work to identify what drives your responses and what you can do to make lasting changes. We will work to help you anticipate and prevent issues before they appear, to feel emotional intensity rising and calm it down, and to exit stressful situations before doing or saying something you’ll regret. I don’t believe that our worst moments define us. I DO believe that each of us is capable of overcoming past struggles and finding a new path. I look forward to working with you as you try to find yours.

Both therapies together can be very effective in meaningful change that lasts. I work with all ages and all individuals. To me, counseling sessions are like writing a story. It is a process that involves brainstorming, creating drafts, and making revisions until your story feels whole and complete. Imagine you are the writer. You have all the pieces of your story within you already. Think of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as those pieces. Sometimes, they don’t make any sense, it’s overwhelming, and you don’t know where to begin. I view my role as someone who is with you to guide you through the process and help organize those very thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with you. During our time together, it is my hope that you develop the skills to ultimately write your story on your own.
Your story may include experiencing cycles of depression, anxiety, grief, past trauma, struggles of worthiness and belonging, the complexities of being a part of an immigrant family, generational trauma, a combination of these things, or perhaps something entirely different. Everyone's mental health journey is different. I’m here to meet you where you are.
I also want to acknowledge how scary it can be when taking a leap of faith into a new therapeutic journey. It takes a lot of courage. More than anything, it’s important to me that you feel safe and the stories you share are handled with utmost care.
Stephanie Passmore is the founder of The Narrative Reframe, PLLC and has more than a decade of experience as a licensed professional counselor. She can help you change your perspective and create a new life motto. It's essential to remember that you have the power to take control of your story and say that this is not how it's going to end. Stephanie can identify the root of your narrative and assist you in making the necessary changes to live the life you deserve. So, if you want to create a better future, take the first step and let Stephanie help you transform your story into one of success and fulfillment.
