LCSW, 8 years of experience
Frequently rebooked
Hi there — I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas, with 8 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan (ages 3 and up). My work centers on creating a healing, affirming space for women, queer folks, and anyone navigating the lasting impacts of trauma. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and grounded in deep compassion. I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™ curriculum to support clients working through PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration, as well as issues related to gender, sexuality, and embodiment. Therapy with me is a collaborative process — you’re always in the driver’s seat. I honor each person’s unique story, strengths, and needs, and I tailor our work to reflect that. Whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning after some time away, I’d be honored to connect and support you on your path toward healing and wholeness. Reach out if you're curious. You are welcome here.
Our first session is all about getting to know each other and making sure this space feels safe and supportive for you. We’ll talk about what you're looking for in a therapist, what I can offer, and explore whether we’re a good fit to work together. I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I approach this first meeting with care, curiosity, and no pressure. We’ll also go over some practical things like scheduling, availability, and any tech or platform questions if we’re meeting virtually. Most importantly, you’ll have space to ask questions and share whatever feels comfortable. It’s your time, and we’ll move at your pace.
As a queer-affirming and feminist therapist, I hold space for those who are ready to reconnect with their inner child and begin healing from the wounds of the past — especially those shaped by systems of oppression, misogyny, and anti-LGBTQ+ harm. My work is rooted in the belief that healing is both personal and political, and I offer a space where your identities, experiences, and truth are not only welcomed, but honored. I’m especially drawn to existential work — exploring the deeper questions of meaning, identity, and purpose — all while using evidence-based approaches to support your growth. Whether you’re unpacking trauma, reclaiming your voice, or navigating this world as a queer person or woman in a time that doesn’t always feel safe, I’m here to walk with you through it, with care and integrity.
I love working with teens and adults who are craving real, honest connection in therapy. My space is intentionally nonjudgmental, affirming, and grounded in curiosity — a place where you can show up as your full self and explore your thoughts, feelings, patterns, and lived experiences without fear of shame or rejection. Together, we’ll work to build practical coping tools, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen your resilience. Whether you're navigating trauma, identity, relationships, or just trying to make sense of it all, my goal is for you to feel deeply seen, heard, and supported. You deserve a life that feels aligned, empowered, and truly yours.

I’ve spent the past 8 years using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support children, teens, and adults in healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps your nervous system release what it’s been holding onto — so you can move forward without carrying the full weight of the past. This work doesn’t have to look just one way. We can adapt EMDR to fit your needs, pace, and comfort — whether that means slowing things down, integrating it with talk therapy, or using creative tools that feel right for you. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and together we’ll shape the process in a way that feels grounding, empowering, and truly yours.
For the past 8 years, I’ve supported clients using DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) — a practical, skills-based approach that helps you navigate the real-life challenges of stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and relationship struggles. DBT offers accessible tools you can start using right away, empowering you to cope more effectively, set boundaries, and respond to life with more ease and self-compassion. I integrate DBT with other approaches (like EMDR and parts work), tailoring it to meet both your immediate needs and long-term goals. Whether you’re trying to get through the day or make deeper shifts in your patterns, we’ll build a toolbox that honors your lived experience and helps you feel more grounded, capable, and in control.
I also integrate Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) into my work — especially for clients who are exploring relationship patterns, attachment wounds, or the impact of past dynamics on how they show up today. IPT helps us examine the connections between your mental health and your relationships, whether that means healing from conflict, navigating grief or transitions, or learning how to show up more authentically with others. In a world that often tells queer people, women, and survivors to shrink themselves or stay silent, this work can be deeply liberating. Together, we’ll look at the ways your past relationships have shaped you — and begin rewriting those stories with intention, boundaries, and self-trust.
I also draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a strengths-based approach that centers your existing wisdom and resilience. SFBT is especially helpful when you're feeling stuck and need support identifying small, meaningful steps forward — without having to rehash every detail of the past. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” we’ll explore what’s already working, amplify your strengths, and clarify your vision for the life you want. This approach can be especially empowering for queer folks, women, and anyone navigating systems that weren’t built with them in mind — because it helps you reclaim your voice, define your goals, and take action on your own terms.
I also offer Brainspotting — a powerful, brain-body based approach that helps access and process trauma, emotional pain, and deeply held experiences that may not always be reachable through talk therapy alone. Brainspotting allows us to gently tap into the body’s natural ability to heal by focusing on specific “brainspots” connected to where trauma is stored in the nervous system. This method can be especially transformative for queer and gender-expansive folks, women, and survivors of complex trauma who may have learned to disconnect from their bodies in order to survive. In our work together, you’ll be supported in moving through old wounds with care, curiosity, and agency — at a pace that feels safe and grounded. Your body holds deep wisdom, and Brainspotting helps us listen.
