I really like psychology. I like the art of effective communication. I like using psychology to understand myself and others behaviors. I believe faith along logical thinking to help people sustain realistic self-acceptance while giving intentional self-compassion.
I am drawn to psychology because it offers a way to make sense of human experience in a structured yet deeply personal way. I value effective communication as an art because it allows people to express themselves clearly, reduce misunderstandings, and build stronger emotional connections. I use psychological principles to better understand both my own behavior and the behavior of others, which helps create more awareness, empathy, and intentional responses in relationships and daily life.
I also believe that combining faith with logical thinking can support a more grounded approach to personal growth. This balance allows individuals to hold onto meaning and hope while still engaging in realistic, rational reflection. Through this integration, people can develop a sense of self-acceptance that is honest and sustainable, while also practicing intentional self-compassion that encourages growth without self-judgment.
I have a PhD in Psychology and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in the states of Texas and North Carolina. I have vast amount of experience in addressing Anxiety, PTSD and Depression. I have experience in addressing life experiences, anger management, and marital conflict. Hello, My name is Philomena , but you can call me Philo, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida who has been in the field since 2013. My work history is colored with working with Teen Mother experiencing Crisis Pregnancy who opted to parent or place their children for adoption, assessing the Veteran population for biopsychosocial needs, and working in the educational setting as a School Therapist for Middle and High School age students. I have a love for Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Social Work Practice with the Elderly and have Undergrad and Graduate Certificates in both areas, respectively.
While my resume and credentials may speak to my professional qualifications, I have many additional experiences that support my knowledge and cultural sensitivity. I offer a zeal for working with older teens, young adults, and women wishing to manifest change in their lives. I have worked with students struggling under social pressures and depression and have a natural knack for life skills, career guidance and helping others adjust to "Adulting." I firmly believe in the connectivity to ourselves and our environment and utilize a Systems / Strength-Based approach, focusing on what can be accomplished rather than deficits. Working as a Psychotherapist at NOLA Adulting LLC, I am able to help in bridging the gap between what formal education has taught us and life experiences. High School has prepared us for solving the quadratic equation, running a mile under 10 minutes, and understanding that in 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue, but we are not prepared on how to manage that feeling of emptiness we may experience post graduation and entering the workforce, setting appropriate boundaries in interpersonal relationships, or correct work email etiquette when we are fed up.

I’m Ayushi Acharya, a licensed therapist and founder of Rich Within Therapy. My practice supports individuals, teens, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationship stress, fertility challenges, postpartum transitions, and the weight of cultural or family expectations.
My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I help clients better understand their patterns, build emotional safety, strengthen relationships, and create lives that feel more connected, sustainable, and rich from within.
My path into counseling began in 2006, working as an addiction counselor in the prison system. Since then, I've worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, and intensive outpatient programs. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and life circumstances, while reinforcing a belief that lasting change happens through connection, self-awareness, and authenticity.
Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and easy to talk to, while also being direct enough to gently challenge unhelpful patterns when they arise. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist. While I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, I also believe growth happens when we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and pay attention to what truly matters. My love of nature and the outdoors has shaped both my life and my work, and I value helping clients find greater balance, self-acceptance, and alignment with their values.
My goal is not to fix people, but to help them recognize their strengths, trust themselves, and move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Hello, I'm M.L.
I believe as humans we all want something similar, to feel normal. We want, desire, and try our best to feel like everyone else. Yet, simultaneously we desire to be unique, special, and individualistic. I believe it is necessary to think of humans as puzzle pieces in order to fulfill both. While the pieces share the same geographical space as well as have the same manufacturer, they are unique and serve varying purposes. Do you belong at the top but are content being a side piece? Are you on the bottom when you were meant to be at the center of it all? Let's collaborate and find out where you belong. You may discover the only thing wrong was where you (as a puzzle piece) tried to fit in.
In therapy, I collaborate with the expert on the client (you), identify obstacles, and come up with strategies for working toward your goals. I do this by first remaining curious about you as a client as well as your perspective of the issue. I serve to remind clients that everything in life does not have to feel good in order to end with good results.
You can't fix something that you don’t see. In a world of selfies no one is willing to look at any angle that doesn’t compliment their cuteness. What if you could see your truest self? The natural, emotional, relational, and spiritual you through a 3-way full body mirror. Imagine what would be possible. Good therapy, is a mirror into your soul.
