About me

I help individuals navigate life's challenges and heal from trauma, with a special passion for supporting women and single mothers in creating lasting, meaningful change. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen and heard, and for those who desire it, I integrate faith into the healing process. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe in meeting you where you are emotionally, mentally, and spiritually; and walking alongside you toward healing and self-discovery. I draw from CBT, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care. When requested, I also integrate faith to support the whole person.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is about getting to know each other and establishing a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your goals, and current challenges. I'll also learn about your unique experiences, values, and background to ensure I meet you where you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

True change happens when you're ready for it, and my role is to meet you where you are, offering support and tools when the time is right. I won't force or push. I'm here to walk alongside you, honoring your pace. Together, we'll identify steps you're prepared to take, creating an authentic and empowering path. I work with individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, and identity challenges especially women and single mothers who are trying to heal while still showing up for everyone else. If you're feeling stuck, exhausted, or longing for peace, I offer a space where you can slow down, process honestly, and begin to rebuild on your terms.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves, even if they don't have everything figured out yet. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, or patterns that keep showing up despite their best efforts to change. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck beneath the surface. They often find themselves overthinking, people-pleasing, avoiding difficult emotions, or carrying responsibilities that leave little room to care for themselves. Together, we'll create a space where you can slow down, gain insight into the "why" behind your patterns, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live. My goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving so you can live with greater confidence, authenticity, and emotional freedom.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

My overall approach is eclectic, meaning I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs rather than relying on a single therapeutic model. I integrate evidence-based approaches based on your goals, symptoms, and where you are in your healing journey.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe healing begins within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. I provide a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences authentically.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT skills to help clients improve emotion regulation, build distress tolerance, strengthen communication, establish healthy boundaries, and respond more effectively during emotionally overwhelming situations.

Interpersonal

I help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms by exploring the underlying beliefs, experiences, and patterns that contribute to their current challenges, fostering greater self-awareness and lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop healthier ways of responding to anxiety, depression, stress, and life challenges.
