Kendall Sentimore
I would like to describe myself as a guy who likes to collaborate with clients to reach their goals and help guide them to overcome barriers that are stopping them to achieve them. I specialize on being a great listener and collaborator with my clients to help them find the best solution to their problems.
Through out my career as a social worker, I've dealt with at risk youths, inmates, and substance abuse, and homeless population.
My strength is my ability to provide great empathy and listening to the problems of my clients. I understand how difficult life can be with overcoming all the many challenges that we must deal with in this ever changing world. I'm an ex-Marine and Christian that love to inspire through hard work and discipline what we can accomplish, if we just trust the process and not give up. "Trust in God and lean not into our own understanding." I'm licensed in Georgia and Texas and my ideal clients are from the age of 12 to middle adulthood. I've worked with adolescents and adults throughout my career. I specialize in working with individuals with challenges with life transitions, anger and depression, and grief.
First session
What clients can expect to happen in our first session is an introduction into services and my experiences as a social worker. I will go over scheduling and what they can expect in treatment so far as discharge, duration of services, therapeutic style, goals in therapy, and a summary and overview of what was covered in each session.

My greatest strengths as a provider is my good listening and problem solving skills.
Ideal clients
My dream client would be someone who takes accountability for their mistakes and at the same time they can forgive themselves for their mistakes and do the work to become better.
Treatment methods
Motivational Interviewing
My therapeutic modality is motivational interviewing and this is something that helps me figure out the client's goals and wishes, so I can ask open-ended questions to help them discover barriers that are stopping them from getting there.
