I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting to support healing from trauma, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop effective coping skills, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you’re seeking support through a difficult transition or striving for personal growth, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
I received my license to practice marriage and family therapy in Texas in 1995. Over the years I've had the opportunity to work successfully with many different types of clients.
I am experienced with mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder. Anxiety, and adjustment disorders are quite common. We are all products of our family and culture so these issues are discussed in individual and couples counseling sessions.
Because my specialty is marriage and family counseling, I sometimes work with couples or with several family members in the counseling session. If you are seeking marital therapy, then you are already aware of how complex it is to resolve problems to satisfy both of you. I want you to know that it is possible to unravel the issues and resolve them. All that is required is honesty – primarily with yourself – and a bit of work. We have seen many couples return to a peaceful and satisfying marriage.
My counseling style is relaxed, but very direct. I prefer for clients to come to counseling weary of how things are going and prepared to begin changing their life.
I practice solution-oriented and CBT counseling techniques which means that we work hard to ensure you come to as few sessions as possible. Many clients report 6 to 10 sessions are sufficient to provide mastery over the symptoms that brought them to therapy.
Integrity, honesty and decency are keys to success and it is my commitment to bring these characteristics to each session.

I have over a decade of experience treating clients at the clinical level. As a former Army Chaplain, I have assisted Soldier and Family members in the most extreme circumstances - to include combat. As a fellow human being, I meet my clients on common ground to assist them in gaining traction and moving forward. I come beside people to help them see their strengths, capabilities, and new possibilities. I help people to find a ray of hope when their life is stuck at the midnight hour.
Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been in the field for over 10 years working with all ages. My focus has been on providing services to those who are looking for guidance to resolve issues that have made their present difficult. My approach is that of helping you find your own path to feeling like yourself again and using a combination of techniques specific to your needs.
Since the days of pigtails, I’ve been pulled by this strong force to access wisdom and connect with something higher than this tangible world. This gnawing passion has led me to study the power of the mind and how to create what our souls truly desire.
I’ve been blessed to study ancient technologies such as yoga and breathwork and am so passionate about sharing simple tools to effect real change.
I was trained in counseling at University of North Texas, receiving my Masters in Education. My favorite courses were transpersonal counseling and stress reduction through movement. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have currently been practicing for 7 years.
I’m also a certified yoga teacher and trained at the Shri Kali ashram in India. The types of yoga I teach focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system to release the whole self from the ever vigilant fight or flight mode a lot of us find ourselves in on a constant basis to survive in this modern culture.
In the therapy session, my main intent is to be fully present with you, free of judgment; to Become a spacious environment in which you can explore your own truth and start to shed the layers that no longer serve.

I have five years experience with adults with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse issues, anxiety, and depression as well as children with ADHD and Autism. I believe this gives me insight into the education system and struggles children face in the classroom as well as accommodations that can help make their school day more successful.
I have experience with a range of assessments for diagnosing ADHD and social skills for children.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a strong background in counseling, education, and advocacy. The impact of my work can be seen in the progress made by students overcoming behavioral challenges, parents finding relief from stress, and families strengthening their relationships. I am passionate about fostering personal growth, emotional well-being, and positive change, both in the counseling room and within the communities I serve.
With my diverse background, including experience as a counselor, educator, and coach, I understand the importance of mental health in all areas of life. I am committed to helping my clients overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and build a brighter future.

Hi and welcome! If you like someone who is straightforward with a bit of dark humor, we’ll probably be a good fit and you’re in the right place. I love discussing things that range from the mundane to deep spiritual and philosophical concepts, whether it’s helping people through depressive slumps, anxieties, or all the changes associated with big life transitions. Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Born & raised in San Antonio, I am enthusiastically entering the empty-nest stage of my life. Since going off to graduate school in the northeast, my devotion to helping marginalized communities has remained steadfast. Gratitude, hope & resiliency certainly are my touch stones. I love listening to music, reading, traveling & quality time with my cuddly companion - Yorkie Poo. Volunteering is also a passion of mine.

My name is David Mancuso, and at the heart of my work is a belief that every person carries an untold story—one shaped by survival, family dynamics, unspoken pain, and the longing to feel whole. I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to silence in order to function. My approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy with a direct, grounded style that invites honesty, clarity, and personal evolution.
I draw from years of clinical practice, trauma-informed training, attachment theory, and my own lived experiences navigating complex family systems. Because of that background, I understand what it means to rebuild a self from the inside out. Clients often come to me during moments of transition, emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, or relational upheaval. They stay because our work helps them find their center again.
While I bring a calm and steady presence, I also show up with real engagement. I don’t sit back passively—I’m interactive, reflective, and attuned to the subtle patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Therapy with me is an active process of reconnecting with your original self, strengthening your internal structure, and learning to move through the world with more confidence, emotional clarity, and integrity.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I work with. My intention is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—so you can step into a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.

Unfortunately, I am unable to assist in concerns for any type of documentation.
Hello, I am Sandra Ventura and I am a Licenced Professional Counselor. I would like you to know that I love the work I do and I'd like to be part of your support system. I know how hard it is to reach out for help when you are going "through it", because I have been there. I know it is hard to find a professional that will listen to your concerns and not talk about theirs because I have been there too. I want you to know that is not how I operate. I am a straight shooter, I don't waste time, and I do not mislead my clients. I don't have a magic pill or a silver bullet to make all your concerns go away. I do have extensive professional experience working with a broad range of problems and seeing people get better.
