I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I primarily use a person centered and trauma focused narrative based therapeutic approach to help individuals understand their stories and explore the core wounds, pains, losses, relationships and longings that still impact them today. I also employ Cognitive Based Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Interpersonal Neurobiology and more as needed and appropriate. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of presenting symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, PTSD, relational issues, parenting issues , men's issues and faith based issues.
My hope is to create a space for you to be heard and seen, so you can feel supported on your journey of investigating your story with kindness and curiosity. My goal is that you would feel heard, see and known by me, as well as be able to offer that to yourself as well as experience that in other safe relationships in your life.
I have background and experience as a Therapist and Social Worker in outpatient therapy settings as well inpatient psychiatric hospital, addictions, child welfare and ministry settings.
From day one, I create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe to be themselves. I combine deep empathy with clinical insight, allowing me to connect with clients on a human level while still providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I listen carefully—not just to what is said, but to what’s underneath—and I help clients put words to experiences they may have carried alone for a long time.

I love what I do, and I know why I do it. Since 2007 my focus has been coming along side of people and assisting them with challenges they face in life to become the most authentic and genuine person they were meant to be. In my own journey I've come to accept and appreciate the gifts I've been given, even if they're seemingly unrelated. I love my work as a therapist and I will always be passionate about performing music. How the two coexist within me is the journey I'm on. My focus has been in becoming a better therapist each day ... but I also know I'll never stop playing guitar and performing music, it's part of who I am.

I've always believed that most people aren't broken, they're stuck. And stuck is something we can work with. For 15 years I have worked with a wide range of people: veterans carrying wounds that never got proper attention, couples trying to find their way to a healthier relationship, individuals wrestling with OCD or trauma or habits they can't seem to shake, and families navigating transitions that turned their world upside down.
I tend to be direct yet compassionate in the way approach therapy and to what my clients are dealing with. The best complement for me is when a client tells me how they felt seen and heard unlike they have had previously.
I have a particular place in my heart for those living between worlds - racial minorities, expats, and members of immigrant communities who are navigating the push and pull of various socio-cultural forces. I understand that experience from the inside, not just from a textbook.
If you are someone who is ready to engage honestly and wants a clinician who will meet you with both expertise and genuine care, please reach out.
