LPC, 10 years of experience
I’ve been license in the state of Pennsylvania to practice counseling. I receive my masters degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Over the years, I have been involved in helping men develop skills to remain non-abusive worked in substance-abuse treatment and currently enjoy collaborative care with primary care, physicians as well as private practice.
During the initial session we will confirm that you are in a safe private place to express yourself comfortably. I will review safety protocol as I need to make sure you and everyone connected to you is safe. I will inform you that anytime I look down or away I am still listening intently. I will give you an opportunity to ask questions, tell me what brings you to counseling, and speak to what goals you have.
I function from the notion that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. The highest aspiration of the heart is to help others.
Everyone deserves an advocate. I am best positioned to serve the underdog (men) that appears less likely to seek support due to masculinity considerations namely - suck it up, big boys don't cry ... never let 'em see you sweat.

Curtis is very welcoming, helpful, and really listens and takes time to think about what you are saying in order to best help.

Mr. Curtis Terry has done nothing but helped me in my hard times. He has taught me and showed me so many different things to be mentally healthy. Curtis Terry was someone I always felt comfortable going to speak about any of my problems going on in my life. He always knew what to say. Nothing but good things to say about Mr. Terry.
I view Counseling from tri patriarch approach where I assist my client with self-awareness, gaining knowledge and developing skills that may assist them with strategies to manage effectively and successfully the various transitions experienced in life. This may be achieved by any one of the therapeutic methods available I believe people long to live lives that reflect harmony between their thoughts and their actions the therapeutic environment represents a safe place to explore options, diverge, thinking, and resolve tension
