I have been in the mental health profession for 10+ years. I have many years experience working with adults, children and adolescents with mental health issues. I continue educating myself on various interventions and techniques. I strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can express themselves. I believe that compassion, empathy and patience are needed with all. I have a genuine concern for my patients. I have experience with Individual, group, couples and family therapy.
Therapy is a gift that you give to yourself. You allow yourself the time and space to sort through issues and challenges. You are brave enough to try new things, be honest with yourself, and deepen your understanding of yourself. As your therapist, it is my privilege to travel the path with you, helping you to create it and to guide you as you go. I view people through a healthy strivings lens. This means that I look for the healthy motivations that underlie even the most unhealthy behaviors, and I always find them. We then will work with those healthy strivings to find healthier and happier ways to live.
In therapy, I will learn about you first, then help you to create goals that are important to you. I will listen to you and reflect back to you the answers that you already have inside yourself. I will support you and empower you to become the person you want to be.
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Pennsylvania and Virginia. I completed a B.A. in Psychology at Temple University before attending PennWest Edinboro where I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, I completed an M.A. in Counseling at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
I have spent the last 10 years specializing in parent-child attachment and relationship building. I was a Clinical Supervisor and am a Certified COSN Therapist & Certified COSN Parent Educator with the Ainsworth Attachment Clinic and Circle of Security Network. I am also a Registered COSP Facilitator with Circle of Security International. In 2024, I obtained my PMH-C certification to treat Perinatal Mood Disorders through Postpartum Support International.
I work primarily with women who are struggling on their perinatal journey. I also work with a wider variety of women's issues as well that may be unrelated to the perinatal period such as life transitions, relationship issues, career/work concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and people pleasing. I also have extensive experience working with individuals who have been in or have had children in the foster care system and the world of adoption.
I help professionals in recovery who are carrying more than anyone realizes. Many of my clients are high-achieving people who have spent years holding everything together on the outside while privately struggling with alcohol, substances, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, or burnout. They’re people who have been depended on—at home, at work, and in their families—and they’re tired of performing, hiding, or white-knuckling their way through life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in addiction recovery, trauma, and life transitions, I bring a grounded, practical, and compassionate approach. My work is deeply influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values-based living, and helping clients build a life that feels aligned rather than pressured or chaotic.
I understand that asking for help—especially as a professional—comes with unique challenges: reputation concerns, workplace stress, perfectionism, shame, fear of consequences, and relationships strained by years of coping alone. My role is not to judge or lecture, but to offer a private, steady space where you can talk openly, regain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more peaceful life.
Whether you’re navigating early sobriety, long-term recovery, career demands, relationship stress, or a sense that you’ve lost yourself, I’m here to walk with you—not as an authority figure, but as someone who respects the courage it takes to show up.
If you’re ready for therapy that’s confidential, respectful, and tailored to the realities of being a professional in recovery, I’d be honored to support you.

Howdy!
My name is "Pete" Peters.
I have 35 years of experience in the field of behavioral health and have been counseling for 30 of those years.
I love working with clientele who see the possibility of change and are willing to take calculated risks to see that positive change actually takes place.
Anything worth while takes effort...
I am interested in helping those who are willing to make the right sacrifices to make positive change happen.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about people—their inner worlds, their relationships, and their capacity for growth. Before entering the field, I found myself drawn again and again to conversations that went beneath the surface. During my training, I was especially moved by work with individuals navigating complex relational histories, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm. I saw how transformative it could be to have someone really listen—to not just problem-solve, but to bear witness with care. That experience deepened my commitment to relational and psychodynamic therapy, and to creating spaces where healing can happen through insight, connection, and trust. What continues to motivate me is seeing clients uncover strength, hope, or clarity they didn’t realize was there. I believe in therapy not just as a space to “fix” something, but as a way to reconnect with yourself and your agency in the world.
Everyone deserves a journey of self-healing and self-discovery. In fact, allowing yourself to blossom is the avenue to experiencing self-love and meaningful connections with others.
I have worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years, but started researching and seeking methods of healing since my early teens. I attended the University of California, San Diego, followed by Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, studying Clinical Psychology, Critical Gender Studies, and Transpersonal Psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified EFT Practitioner.
I have experience assisting individuals with a range of issues including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, addictions, end of life issues, and issues related to discrimination and marginalization. I am an experienced therapist, supervisor, and group facilitator in various settings. I have also instructed Graduate Level Psychology students, teaching courses on Transforming Addictions and Multicultural and Diversity Issues in Counseling.
The transition to parenthood and constant changes once you’re there are some of the most transformative experiences a person can go through during their life. This time is both beautiful and stressful. Whether it’s your first or your fifth+ child, in today’s world, almost all of us- both moms and dads- can benefit from some additional support in the years of pregnancy and raising children.
My practice aims to assist you through all of the normal and abnormal challenges of this time that is short-lived but has long-lasting impacts on ourselves and our families. While each individual and family is unique in their needs and ways that they grow, common goals achieved in counseling include feeling more connected to yourself, your baby or child, and your partner; changing unhealthy family patterns you don’t want to repeat from past generations; feeling more confident in yourself as a parent and partner; improving work-life balance; feeling more supported and less alone; developing your unique identity as a parent and embracing this stage of life; and improving persistent feelings of anxiety, depression, shame, anger, and feeling overwhelmed.
If you are struggling, want to better support a partner who is struggling, or would just like to utilize this uniquely powerful time in your life to become more of the person you want to be, I would love to meet you.
I am a psychologist with over thirty years of experience working with adults and children. My goal is to listen and be present with you as you share what you feel is getting in your way of being happy and successful in life. I will challenge you gently where it seems this is needed and help you develop new ways of understanding and handling existing challenges. I can help you if you are having relationship issues you are trying to figure out or resolve, whether they be past or present. I can help you if you can't stop a maladaptive habit or behavior that bothers you. I will listen and validate if you need to process a prior trauma to help you move beyond it or address current stressors in your life.
I believe that everyone is doing their best at any given time and are motivated to be the best version of themselves possible, although that does not mean that we always know how to get there. Having a therapeutic relationship with a trusted therapist can provide a safe place to process difficult emotions, help identify patterns of thinking and behavior that no longer serve us, or outline goals for the future and develop a plan of action.
I have enjoyed working as a clinician since May 1996. My favorite delight is to see people grow and bocome empowered to be the absolute best they can possibly be!
I consider myself a navigator, helping folks thru the myriad of hardships, difficulties and curve balls that life throws at each of us. my role is very small and humble but of huge importance to the people who are suffering. I provide a safe space to actively listen, evaluate, diagnose and assist with a myriad of mental health issues including;
depression, anxiety, family issues, job related issues, and addictions .

With over 13 years of experience as a dedicated social worker, I have served 6 years in nursing facilities and the past 7 years as a transplant social worker. Throughout my career, I have been committed to supporting individuals and families through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. In nursing facilities, I provided compassionate care and advocacy for elderly residents, helping them navigate the challenges of aging, loss, and chronic medical conditions. As a transplant social worker, I have guided patients through the complex emotional and logistical journey of organ transplantation, offering critical support around grief, depression, anxiety, and the impact of chronic illness. My work has consistently focused on empowering clients, promoting emotional resilience, and improving their overall quality of life during difficult times.

Taking care of your emotional health is just as important as caring for your physical health. Many people feel unsure or self conscious about therapy, which leaves them struggling in silence. You deserve to be heard, understood, and supported. No one should have to cope alone.
The type of therapy I offer depends on your own individual needs. Often called Eclectic or Integrative, this type of therapy is tailored to your specific issues.
Let's work together to find the answers you need to live a better life!
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years of experience. I really enjoy helping people navigate the challenges of changing and maintaining roles in life---exploring young adulthood, how to maintain your own identity as a parent, how to create a life worth living in whatever stage you are in. I feel like I am very open, non judgmental, eager to learn, empathetic and understanding. And funny!
I am a gender affirming therapist. I am an ally in the LGB and TNC Communities, always keeping my eyes and ears open to find ways to improve my allyship. The current political climate is traumatic and oppressive to members of these Communities. I want to create space in session to discuss how that may be affecting you or retraumatizing you. I am also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. I am comfortable providing documentation for medical transition.
I am very comfortable with working with those who use self harm as a coping mechanism--there is no shame or expectation you must stop when you engage in therapy. I'm fine with talking about suicide, whether it's your own personal experience of trying to find a life worth living, your experience of supporting someone who lives with suicide in their life, or grief around experiences of suicide. I do not believe inpatient hospitalization is an effective treatment for those experiencing suicide and do everything I can as a therapist to keep people out of the hospital when in suicidal crisis.
I do believe therapy is political. I am social justice focused, continuing to do my own anti-racism work. I believe in Health at Every Size. I believe that our environment and what we experience in life has a profound affect on us and must be discussed in therapy.

Life can change fast—new jobs, breakups, family stress, burnout, loss—and even when things look fine on the outside, inside you might feel anxious, stuck, or unsure who you are right now. You’ve been doing your best to hold it all together, but lately it’s started to feel like too much. I help people move through anxiety, trauma, grief, and major life transitions with a compassionate, mind-body approach that restores clarity, confidence, and calm. Therapy offers space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself—let’s take that next step together.

I will provide tools and techniques to help you develop a deeper appreciation and love for yourself.

I place importance on acknowledging and validating your inner child. We will explore past experiences and emotions, providing the validation and empathy that may have been lacking. This process helps in healing old wounds and fostering a sense of wholeness.
My ultimate goal is to support your growth and development. Through our sessions, I will provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore, learn, and evolve. Hello, I’m Kristin, and I have over 18 years of experience helping people face life’s challenges and uncover their inner strength. In my own life, I’ve learned that every part of me matters and deserves care. I bring that belief into therapy, respecting each part of who you are.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University and have been practicing for 12 years. I specialize helping people struggling with anger, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, and I have also been successful treating couples and families and people whose lives have been impacted by trauma, as well as neurodivergent people struggling to fit into a neurotypical world.
Hello. I look forward to working with you. My own background is one of growing up on farms, having little money and ambitious dreams. I did not know what it was but I knew I wanted to go to college and get out of the tobacco fields. My dreams came true. I ended up being a psychologist and a teacher, spending decades working in residential treatment then in schools, the last 13 years working with preschoolers and their families to prepare them to succeed in school. As a teacher, I taught many college and university courses as well as workshops, most recently to address grief and trauma. I am also an artist, a dancer and a writer and like to bring co-creativity to others.
In the early 1990's, I felt led to live and work at or near the world center of Quakers called Pendle Hill in PA. There I studied and taught Arts and Spirituality while also serving as a Psychologist in nearby schools. I came to see the importance of Co-Creativity (creating together a piece of life we truly want to live for). My specialties in the Arts have been writing, visual arts and dancing/movement from a "no wrong way" perspective. I incorporate these into the therapy process as they become beneficial.
For much of my life, I have also been engaged with my own therapeutic process. Having been the client for several years, gives me the perspective of what might be important to you as we work together, never assuming I know or forgetting to ask you.
In our sessions, I want to hear about you, find our starting points and from there develop action plans each session to work on the goals needed to find the life you dream of and are willing to work toward.
I have 30 plus years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about partnering with you to establish goals and making a plan to reach them. My interests include trauma, younger adults, queer, trans and genderqueer people, veterans, adults scapegoated as children, moral injury, Flash Technique, trauma as a social justice issue, collective trauma, and racial trauma.
You are more resilient than you think. Being here, you are already taking the first step towards wellness. And what does wellness look like for you; more joy, less anxiety, better sleep? Are you adjusting to a new medical condition, amid a life transition or wanting to improve your relationships?
I work from a whole-person health approach. Our bodies and our minds are connected, as well as those who move through life with us. I have navigated the behavioral health world for over 30 years. You will have a partner in your health journey; spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical.
I will provide concrete coping skills and goals, as well as existential widening and techniques for inner peace.
I believe everyone can change, but change requires a plan, dedication, community, support, encouragement, and accountability. If you are ready, or just even want to see if you are ready to make sustainable change, I am here for you. Let’s get working!
