After a session, I hope that clients will feel a sense of relief and a renewed sense of hope. I try to create a warm and welcoming environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, gain insight into their behavior patterns, and develop new coping/life skills. My counseling approach is centered on creating a collaborative and compassionate space for my clients.
I am trained in a wide array of treatment approaches including CBT, emotional regulation techniques, and motivational interviewing. However, I try to utilize a strengths based approach to sessions. We'll work together to find out what those are, so you can begin to use them to become a more confident, happier person!
I have worked in various settings over the course of my career, with many people from all backgrounds and cultures. I come from the belief of respect and connection.
My primary focus is clients that are 18+. I do not work with children and adolescents at this time.
