"The best way out is always through." - Robert Frost I'm an LCSW with 20 years of experience helping people through hard things. I've spent my career in community mental health, primarily working with children impacted by trauma and the caregivers who love them. Through telehealth, I am open to working with both teens and adults. I have a deep understanding of trauma, including foster care and adoption. I also understand the challenges that come from raising children who are neurodiverse and/or display trauma-based behaviors. I love working with adults who have parenting struggles or need support around managing challenging behaviors. I also love working with teens and adults struggling with anxiety and/or depression. I received my Masters in Social Service at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research with a specialization in child and family well-being in 2006. I'm a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and am licensed in both Pennsylvania and Florida.

Hi, I’m Emily, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of EverFidelis Counseling & Consulting. My practice is rooted in approaches like CBT, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based care. Hi, I’m Colette, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I’m glad you’re here. I provide a calm, supportive space where you can feel safe to share your story and begin making sense of what you’re going through. Grief work is at the heart of my practice. Whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, a major life change, or a more personal kind of loss, I’m here to support you. I also work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, maternal mental health, and life transitions. In our work together, we’ll explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. We can look at patterns from the past, while also building tools to help you manage the present. I use mindfulness and CBT techniques to support you in understanding your thoughts and finding ways to cope with stress. In grief work, we may also create meaningful rituals or practices to honor your loved ones while caring for yourself. I believe it’s possible to hold both pain and joy, and I will support you in finding that balance. If you feel ready, I invite you to take the next step and schedule an appointment. I would be honored to work with you.

I work with professionals in recovery who are exhausted from carrying far more than anyone realizes. Most of my clients are dependable, high-functioning people who hold everything together on the outside while privately battling alcohol, substances, compulsive habits, or severe burnout. They’ve spent years performing competence while white-knuckling their way through daily life. Asking for help in a high-stakes professional world carries real fear: reputation risk, perfectionism, and deep-seated shame. In my practice, you will not be lectured, managed, or judged. We bypass the performative mask to look directly at the pressure, the strained relationships, and the isolation that comes from coping alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my approach is practical and collaborative. Whether you are navigating early sobriety, maintaining long-term recovery, or simply trying to stop running on high alert, our goal is clear: dismantle the shame, restore your autonomy, and build a stable, grounded life that actually feels like your own.

I partner with clients to uncover their strengths and increase their daily functioning. My education and experience have focused on supporting teens, college students, couples, and adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and motivation challenges. I take a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. When working with me, you can expect empathy, reflective listening, and evidence-based techniques such as Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you move toward your goals. I understand that attending therapy can be difficult—time, energy, and motivation can all be barriers. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, build insight, and experience healing. I am an LGBTQIA+ and disability ally and welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities.

Each individual presents with unique experiences and challenges. My aim is to meet you where you are at and help you reach the next personal goal you have set whether it be self-discovery or coping with various challenges. I help by bringing humor and empathic listening to every session. I aim to understand your experience in your eyes and feel what you feel. I hope to help you see that others can help you through the challenges that you are facing. My goal is to help bring a strong connection to the time you spend with me in therapy. The connection made in therapy can lead to strong bonds in your personal life and better decision-making. Through a person-centered and solution-focused approach, we will be able to help you process trauma or discover the person you aspire to be.

As a holistic therapist, I believe real change happens when you feel understood, supported, and given practical tools that fit your life. I’m down-to-earth, collaborative, and genuinely curious about what makes you *you*. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want—one step at a time. I am not a "blank slate" therapist and will both feel with you and for you when you are in a tough situation. While I consider myself a safe and nonjudgmental person, I will challenge you once we have built a relationship to ensure you are focused on your growth.

I have 32 years of experience providing counseling. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, stressing that what we think determines what we feel and what we do. For many reasons, people learn unrealistic or destructive thoughts that cause them problems in their lives. Therapy works towards more realistic thinking, and avoiding old and destructive thinking. As I like to say, "therapy is a conversation with a destination," and realistic thinking is that destination. While I am a Christian, I am not trained as a Christian Counselor. I am a "Counselor who is a Christian." My training is secular, and I regularly see people or all faiths, or none at all. I do not offer court ordered services, nor do I do assessments for custody, or any other legal purpose. Unfortunately, I cannot accept Medicare, or Medicare based plans. The world is changing, and more and more people are reaching out. I am seeing more men that have been in abusive relationships. There are also more people dealing with loss. Coming to my office is not like going to a big mental health clinic where you just another number on a spreadsheet. In my care, you are a person, and you'll be treated like one.
