In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I remain flexible and adaptable in my approach. Whether adjusting the pace of therapy, or modifying interventions based on client feedback, I prioritize meeting clients where they are and supporting them in the way that best suits their needs. By drawing on these strengths, I aim to provide effective and empowering therapy experiences that enable clients to overcome challenges, build resilience, and cultivate greater well-being in their lives.
Clients who value a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where they're actively involved in setting goals and driving the treatment process, can benefit from my approach. By working together as partners, we can tailor the therapy experience to meet their unique needs and preferences. Ultimately, I strive to create a safe and supportive space for clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs. Whether they're seeking short-term solutions or long-term personal growth, I'm dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based support to help them achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In my practice, I have extensive experience with CBT and find it to be a versatile and effective tool for helping clients address a wide range of issues. One of the core principles of CBT is that our thoughts and beliefs influence how we feel and behave. Therefore, I work closely with clients to identify and challenge any negative or unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to their difficulties.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and amplifying clients' strengths and resources to facilitate positive change. In my practice, I find SFBT to be particularly effective for clients who prefer a goal-oriented and practical approach to therapy. One of the key aspects of SFBT is its emphasis on the present and the future, rather than dwelling extensively on past issues.

Mrs. Butler created a very warm environment that I felt comfortable expressing my issues and goals in. She allowed me to address all of my issues and provided a clear layout of how I could target my goals independently and with her as my therapist. I appreciated the authenticity and care provided to me and look forward to continue working with her as my therapist.
