Hi, I'm Lizzie! If you are reading this, I'm proud of you. Starting a journey to get support or become a better version of yourself isn't easy - and you are already doing just that.
I have always been someone who finds fulfillment in supporting the people around me. I am a child of divorce, part of a blended family, proud dog mom, have struggled with anxiety, lover of all things arts and crafts and am always looking for ways to make my at home coffee taste like it does when I buy it out. I pride myself in my ability to be direct and honest - I am human and make mistakes every day just like my clients.
I believe in taking a collaborative, solution-focused, and person centered approach to therapy (which starts with getting to know you as a person - not a mental health diagnosis). As a therapist, one of my favorite things to do is help people recognize their unique strengths. Throughout the therapeutic process, I like to explore those hidden talents with you so that you can learn to celebrate, embrace, and use your gifts in practical ways. It is my hope that everyone leaves a conversation with me feeling empowered and excited to create changes that move them one step closer to their goals and being the best version of themselves.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lafayette College and a master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University. I have worked in the hospital setting (inpatient, research and outpatient clinic), schools, community mental health, and private practice outpatient settings (both in-person and virtually).
Let’s chat and see if I’m a good fit to help you be your best self!

Hi! I'm Suzanne and I've been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. I’m a warm and engaging therapist who believes that people are pretty much born with what they need to be healthy and happy-but get covered over and need help getting to that part of themselves. Therapy is like gently peeling back the layers of an onion to help you discover the answers. I don’t tell you what to do. I help you figure it for yourself!
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. Challenges with your mental health may feel overwhelming, but it does not have to! Take some time to pour into yourself by receiving the proper support and care. Often times we struggle to take that first step in receiving help when we don't feel like ourselves anymore. You do not have to struggle alone, we can talk, learn, and grow through any of our challenges. Take your first step into feeling like a better version of yourself!
Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the mental load of life—constantly juggling expectations, relationships, anxiety, or your identity as a woman, mother, or both? I work with women navigating these complex roles and transitions, especially those dealing with late-diagnosed ADHD, parenting stress, and the emotional realities of postpartum. My personal and professional experiences have shown me how often women’s needs are misunderstood, minimized, or unseen. I strive to be the kind of support I once needed.
My belief in therapy is rooted in the understanding that we are always growing and changing. Whether you're facing anxiety, burnout, intrusive thoughts, identity loss, or simply need a space where your feelings are validated, I offer a warm, empowering environment to explore those experiences without shame. I use a blend of cognitive and relational approaches to increase awareness, reshape thinking patterns, and help you reconnect with your sense of self.
My goal is to process both current challenges and past experiences to understand how they shape the present—and how we can move forward with intention. I believe therapy is not just about managing symptoms, but about rediscovering who you are beneath the expectations. You can be a good parent, a whole person, and someone who takes care of themselves—and in doing so, you model strength, boundaries, and self-worth for those around you.

I find DBT therapy to be quite fascinating, and complements CBT very well, while also focusing on some key aspects not addressed in CBT. I am focused on helping support clients through challenges in their lives through a strengths-based person- centered approach.
I believe that each individual has the capacity within themselves to elicit change and that part of the struggle is not being able to recognize their own internal strengths.
My role as a therapist is not to make decisions for other people but to help people build insight into making decisions for themselves. Empowerment is key and central to my practice and I devote time and dedication to forming a therapeutic alliance where you will feel safe, secure and heard.
My practice utilizes a variety of modalities because each person I work with is unique and what may work for some may not work for others.

Sincerely,
Rick
