Often rebooked
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who believes healing happens in safe, honest relationships. I show up as a real person in the room, warm, grounded, and direct; while creating a space where you can exhale and be fully yourself. I see symptoms as meaningful responses to life experiences, not flaws to be fixed. Together, we gently explore the patterns that once helped you survive and decide which ones you’re ready to outgrow. My work blends insight with practical tools. I integrate parts work, relational approaches, and nervous system regulation to help you understand your emotions, strengthen your boundaries, and build resilience. I balance compassion with thoughtful challenge, supporting you while also encouraging growth. At the core of my work is the belief that you are not broken but you are adapting. Therapy is about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and move forward with greater confidence and self-trust.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session with me is a mix of grounding, curiosity, and a little bit of relief. There’s no pressure to “perform” or have the perfect summary of your life story. We move at your pace. We’ll start by getting a feel for what brought you in and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, not to interrogate you, but to understand the bigger picture: your patterns, your stressors, your strengths, and what’s been weighing on you. You can expect warmth, gentle humor when appropriate, and real conversation. I’m not a blank slate therapist silently nodding for 50 minutes I’m engaged, present, and collaborative. We’ll also talk about how I work so you know what to expect moving forward. I may introduce small concepts (like how the nervous system responds to stress or how coping patterns develop) to help normalize what you’re experiencing. Often, clients leave the first session saying, “Oh… that actually makes sense.” Most importantly, the first session is about building safety. You don’t have to share your deepest trauma right away. We’re laying the foundation; getting to know each other, clarifying goals, and beginning to create a space where you can feel both supported and empowered. You’ll likely leave with a little more clarity, maybe a new perspective, and the sense that you don’t have to carry everything alone anymore.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I value authenticity, humor, and real conversations. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, hopeful, and human — where you can explore what’s been heavy and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and meaningful. I believe in meeting you exactly where you’re at and honoring your unique process. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on creating safety, trust, and space for growth along the way.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I welcome people from all walks of life into the therapy space, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community. My ideal clients are anyone who is ready to take steps toward healing, whether they’re working through past trauma, navigating life transitions, or simply wanting more balance and peace. I believe the heart of therapy is trust and safety, so I work to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we’ll explore your story, uncover strengths, and move toward the life you want to create.
Eclectic
I like to bring different approaches to the table, with a heavy emphasis on meeting you where you are. Some sessions we may process immediate stressors, and then the next we're diving into some core struggles. Whatever you bring to session to process, we'll find a way to comfortably process and talk it out.
