About me

Hi, friends call me Kate. I have been Board Certified for 22 years and bring a variety of work experiences to the table. I Am retired from outpatient behavioral health at a Regional Hospital and work part time exclusively doing telehealth. Are you going through a rough patch in your life? Sometimes when life gets tough, it helps to share that burden with someone else. Voicing your hardships with a professional experienced therapist Is the first step in helping you to feel better. Is it hard for you to balance work life and home life? Let’s work together so that we can create a way to better handle the stress that life presents. If you need tools to better cope with anxiety and depression, we can work on that. Perhaps you are grieving a loved one or a lost lifestyle. I’ve had lots of experience with parent coaching and enjoy helping families live a more positive life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session you will share your concerns after a brief introduction. I want to get to know you and will ask questions about your history and what you want to accomplish in therapy. I limit my practice to part time work. However, if you do not see a time available that you would prefer, please message me and I will try to meet your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I enjoy working with young adults, middle age and seniors, especially helping them find tools to cope with their anxiety. I often use a person centered approach to draw upon each person's strengths and values. Clients find through therapy that they have the answers and the strength to cope in ways that they might not have realized. Helping parents understand developmental levels and how they affect their children’s behavior and often makes family life easier and more enjoyable.
