Hello, My name is Corey Gazoo, Psy.D. and I am a licensed psychologist and I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I earned my Doctorate in Psychology from Florida School of Professional Psychology and has spent the last several years providing therapy and counseling services to individuals and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My greatest strength is to help clients navigate through the challenges they face and foster a sense of self-efficacy and encourage personal growth.

I consider myself an eclectic therapist with and emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence based approach that has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety and depression. I received my doctorate at the Florida school of progressional psychology, which I chose cognitive behavioral therapy as my theoretical orientation. This is the framework from which I view certain mental health concerns. I also incorporate treatment modalities from other theoretical underpinnings depending on the needs of the client.
