I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a mom and a spouse, and much of my time is spent at home with my family. I understand that life can be messy, complicated, overwhelming, and sometimes beautiful all at the same time. I bring that same understanding and humanity into my work with clients.

A few moments to introduce myself. Professionally I am known as
I. Barry Bell, Ph.D. I am a 73-year-old, male, Caucasian Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for 39 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both in-patient psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinical settings. I have also maintained my own private practice from September 2016 to the present.
Prior to receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985, I trained extensively as a Modern Dancer for 10 years. During these years I became deeply involved in emerging positive psychologies and Eastern/Buddhist/Taoist studies. This was the beginning of the interface between what is now referred to as Mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy and Eastern philosophies, especially Buddhist. Mindfulness approaches to psychotherapy are now at the forefront of evidence-based interventions.
I have spent more than the past 20 years studying and practicing the interface between psychotherapy and personal psychological growth. Over the years I have integrated various theoretical approaches, including depth psychodynamic theories. I will be happy to discuss my approach with you further should you choose to contact me to consider engaging in psychotherapeutic work with me.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and solution-focused, providing a balance of empathy and insight. As an individual and a couples therapist, I strive to create an environment where both men and women feel comfortable and engaged in the process. Whether you're looking to improve your mental health or your relationships, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

I am an active listener who creates space for you to be vulnerable, while also helping you challenge the barriers that may be holding you back. I work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, caregivers, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, and have dedicated much of my career to serving those who have experienced high levels of stress and trauma in both personal and professional settings.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I specialize in treating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), interpersonal therapy, and couples counseling.
Having worked closely with veterans and first responders throughout my career, I understand the unique challenges they face—including PTSD, moral injury, burnout, and the impact of service on personal relationships. It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
My background has been shaped by walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult and vulnerable experiences. I began working in hospice care, where I learned the importance of presence, compassion, and creating space for grief and meaning at the end of life. From there, I moved into intensive case management and addiction counseling in a methadone clinic, supporting individuals navigating substance use, trauma, and significant life challenges. Over time, my work has focused more deeply on individuals living with complex trauma, dissociation, personality disorders, severe mental illness, and experiences of domestic violence. These experiences have taught me how important it is to move gently, build trust at a pace that feels safe, and truly meet people where they are. I bring a steady, nonjudgmental presence into the therapy room, with the understanding that healing often begins in feeling seen, understood, and not alone.

Hi! I'm Nikki, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Greater Pittsburgh Area that's been recognized as Marquis Who's Who Honoree Listee. I've been working in human services for 25 years starting with an Alzheimer's unit in a nursing home and intellectual disabilities in group homes to wraparound services with children that have Autism. I gained my education in psychology and counseling and began working with at risk youth in juvenile delinquency settings and now working with transition aged youth. I really enjoy helping young adults find themselves and their path in life with their personal life and professional endeavors. I've also grown with the BFRB community (body focused repetitive behavior) being recovered myself and providing outreach and advocacy. I have been featured on the Dr. Oz television show, spoken at the Pennsylvania Counseling Association, and written in the book Project Dermatillomania. My main approach is a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for general anxiety and depression and sometimes integrate expressive arts approaches for those that have difficulty expressing themselves. I specialize in OCD and am trained in Habit Reversal, ACT, COMB and ERP. I currently only offer online therapy and do not accept clients with severe mental illness, active suicidality or substance use.
On a personal note, I'm married with a daughter and we enjoy outdoor activities. My hobbies include crocheting and scrapbooking. I really believe in "You are the author of your own life story" and would like to hear your story as you're the expert! I teach by my own SELF approach: S for searching your soul and what works for you, E for changing your environment from a toxic one to a healthy one, L for surrounding yourself with those that love and support you and learning to love yourself, and F for forgiving yourself for relapses.
My name is Kate and I am Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I meet you where you are and together we discuss ways to cope with difficult situations in life. Life can be difficult and therapy not only helps to manage any struggles but also an opportunity for you to become the best version of yourself you can be.
Are you struggling with relationship issues or coping with anxiety? Are you in a season of life where you feel lost or depressed? Together we will work on coping skills to lessen your distress, help you find rhythms that allow for personal growth, and manage negative mental health symptoms. I have worked in various outpatient mental health and substance use disorder settings, and I have experience with both individual and group therapy. I am also well-versed in CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing-all of which involve discussing what you are experiencing and learning strategies to cope with them and make changes to improve your life as you so desire.
I found my career as a therapist as a secondary one which has provided exposure to multiple therapeutic settings. My start in community mental health gifted me with a well-rounded, diverse level of training and exposure to the human experience. More importantly, my background reinforced the importance and power of the therapeutic relationship. I am curious, empathetic, affirming, and compassionate. My sense of humor often finds its way into our sessions (as do my dogs, if you're so inclined!). Together, we will map your treatment, so that you are clear as to what to expect, regardless of the intervention. We start at the place you are ready, reinforcing the strengths and resiliency that you already exhibit. Together, we build from there to address what you came in for.. Therapy is hard work, but it is also profoundly full, rewarding and empowering. It's important for me to honor both the challenges and rewards.

I also maintain ongoing training in areas such as grief work, anxiety, depression, and relational dynamics to ensure I’m bringing current practices to our work.

My background spans community‑based work, clinical practice, and school‑based therapy, and those experiences have shaped the way I show up with clients: calm, empathic, and steady.
I create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore what’s been weighing on you without pressure or judgment. Together, we work to deepen self‑care, ease anxious or self‑critical thoughts, strengthen coping skills, and build relationships that feel healthier and more supportive.
If you’re looking for a therapist who meets you exactly where you are — with compassion, clarity, and a grounding presence — I’d be glad to support your growth.
Many people are unsure how to help their family members or friends that are struggling with mental health or substance use, or where to seek help for themselves. I have spent the last 6 years working in substance use and mental health treatment and have had the privilege of meeting and working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual, group, and family settings.
I’m Dr. Zoya, a psychotherapist and counselor educator specializing in trauma, women’s mental health, and reproductive and perinatal mental health. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional weight that often comes with major life transitions. Many of my clients also carry trauma related to relational experiences, including histories of emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, or difficult family dynamics.
My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and collaborative. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and narrative therapy, while also incorporating somatic strategies that support emotional regulation and mind-body healing. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered—not judged or rushed.
Whether you are trying to rebuild after a painful experience, strengthen your relationships, or reconnect with your sense of self, I will work alongside you to develop practical tools, deepen self-awareness, and support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and EMDR-trained therapist. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Counseling.
But more than credentials, what I bring into the room is presence.
I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, identity development, substance use concerns, and life transitions. I work with individuals ages 10 and up, and my approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational.
I use evidence-based approaches, including EMDR and trauma-informed practices, but therapy with me never feels clinical or cold. It feels like conversation, exploration, and sometimes gentle challenge.
