I am a therapist who genuinely loves to meet new people from all walks of life. I enjoy getting the opportunity to hear others' stories and witness human resilience. I value the trust it takes for others to share their struggles and growth with me. I strive to practice mindfulness in each session to allow individuals to feel heard, seen and empowered to connect on a deeper level to themselves and others.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session my focus is mostly grounded in building a trusting relationship, getting to know you and exploring what brings you to therapy. You can expect me to go at your pace, you are always welcomed to pass a topic or subject that may be deemed too sensitive for the initial session. I find it helpful discuss therapy focus including end goals and what you can expect by engaging in sessions with me.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I pride myself on my ability to help my clients feel truly seen and heard. When you are in session with me, you are my full focus. I bring a warm, supportive, strength based approach, meeting you where you are while also guiding you to your end goals. My work is grounded in building a strong, authentic connection because I believe meaningful change occurs when clients feel safe, supported and empowered.

You are open to change by engaging in self-reflection and the therapeutic process with the end goal of working towards clarity and a stronger sense of self.
Eclectic
I tailor my treatment modalities to each person based on the person's need, presenting concerns, goals and personality. I may use more of a cognitive behavioral approach when a client is experiencing thought-based challenges such as anxiety while dialectical behavioral therapy may be utilized for concerns related to mood regulation. Regardless of the interventions used, my approach is grounded in empowerment and a strength-based foundation.
