Hi! I'm Dana, a licensed therapist (LPC) in Philadelphia for adults who are tired of the way their past experiences keep impacting the way they show up in the present, who feel like their feelings are "too much", and who get stuck overthinking everything but are unable to change in the ways they'd like.
If you're struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues and/or low self esteem; I'm here to tell you that there isn't anything 'wrong' with you. You aren't broken, you have simply learned to cope in ways that are no longer serving you. You don't need to be labeled or pathologized, you need to be supported by someone who actually gets you.
My name is Zoe Yeaton and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in central Pennsylvania. I have been working in the mental health field for nearly 14 years, with the last 6 years being in a therapist role. I work with adults in need of support with managing stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms. I am client-centered, meaning that I want your goals to be the guiding foundation for your therapeutic journey. I use a psychodynamic approach to help you identify and explore patterns and events in your life that have an impact on your overall well-being. While holding space to process life experiences, we can utilize a toolbox of practical coping skills to help manage emotional health.
I work with women navigating life transitions, including changes in relationships, family roles, and health. These experiences can bring anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the effects of trauma into focus, and can influence how thoughts, emotions, and the body interact.
As a yoga therapist and yoga teacher for over 25 years, mindfulness is a natural part of my work and informs how I understand and approach the mind body connection. I integrate mindfulness based stress reduction, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, and somatic therapy into sessions in a way that supports awareness and emotional regulation.
My training as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina and Delaware allows me to bring these approaches together in a way that is both clinically grounded and also responsive to your experience.
Most couples don’t need more talking—they’re stuck in patterns that keep leading to the same conflict or disconnection. I help individuals and couples identify those patterns and understand how they show up in real time, not just in hindsight. From there, we actively practice new ways of responding so change actually happens, not just insight. My approach is direct, experience-based, and grounded in ACT, with space for faith when it matters to you.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I have several years of experience working with children and parents, manage behavioral or emotional concerns, and build healthy coping skills. In addition to my therapy work, I also serve as a case manager in a long-term acute care hospital, where I support adults and older adults facing complex medical and life transitions.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and strengths-based. I strive to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and feel more confident navigating everyday life.
I'm Jilana Jaxon, a licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma, grief, and perinatal mental health. I also work with anxiety, depression, unsteadying life transitions, and relationships (including marriage/couples). My goal in every therapeutic relationship is the same: To create a space where you feel safe and grounded enough to explore the hard stuff and supported enough to actually move through it. All sessions are held virtually.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Worker for 37 years, treating both men and women of all ages. I have trained and worked on numerous treatment modalities and behavioral health issues. Most recently I worked treating male and female veterans. I did this for the past 18 years until my semi-retirement in 20025. Prior to this work. I had a private practice then worked at various outpatient clinics. My expertise is too extensive to discuss here but I would gladly answer any questions the client might have. I enjoy helping others improve their lives and hope to continue in this role.
I received my master’s degree in counseling in 2011 and have been working as a counselor in higher education since then. I started providing on-line counseling more than 5 years ago and got to perfect that skill over the pandemic.
I am the father of three beautiful, intelligent, well adjusted, usually content, sometimes happy, young adults and I hold my job in helping them become good humans as my most valued and important purpose in my existence. I was married to the same woman for twenty-three years, since we were but ourselves emerging adults, and understand that even with friendship, love, and respect this type of partnership has its ebbs and flows; and sometimes relationships are just completed. I understand how difficult the loss of love can be; but also understand that life can be great again after these hardships.
I believe in the ability in nature to restore the energy that we constantly give out and always urge people to be outside, to recharge themselves. I am creative and productive and will push my clients to unlock the creative potentials they inside of themselves. I love starting and finishing home improvement projects. I enjoy reading and am passionate about music although I am not musically inclined in the least. I understand that even when we are doing everything "right" and doing the things we love...life can still be difficult.
I consider pride myself on the ability to quickly form a therapeutic alliance and maintain positive relationships with my clients to enact the changes they wish to see, get through rough patches, reach goals, or just be "happyish". I am open, honest, friendly, and pretty normal. I will work closely with you to help you solve your own issues as I feel we hold the answers to our own questions.

I take a direct but supportive approach, helping you understand your negative patterns, develop practical coping skills, and build enduring confidence. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in attachment, self-esteem, and relationships. I am trained in EMDR and IFS and Gottman method for Couples. I enjoy helping you find your unique nature and expression. My aim is to help you live life with purpose, love, and compassion. I am a father of two small children, a husband, and lover of life and nature.

Hello, I’m Nicole McDuff, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field and hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gannon University.
I take a warm, relational, and deeply individualized approach to therapy. My goal is to create a steady, compassionate space where you feel genuinely heard and supported as we explore what’s bringing you to therapy.
Hi there, I’m Sarah! As an integrative psychologist, I enjoy incorporating movement, meditation, nature, and nutrition alongside traditional psychological modalities. I specialize in helping others regulate their nervous system in order to allow for awareness and change. I help clients shed unhealthy patterns and refocus on enhancing quality of life.
In session, I’ll teach you sophisticated therapeutic skills in a user-friendly, down-to-earth way. Hi! My name is Sarah Silverman, I have been working in the field of mental health for over eight years. I have experience working in a variety of settings, but getting to work individually with clients in outpatient therapy is my absolute favorite. I am often described as having a calming and empathetic personality. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends, cuddling my two orange cats, trying out a new delicious food, reading, or playing video games.
I bring a wide range of life experiences into my work and offer a relaxed, approachable presence in each session. We’ve all received messages throughout our lives—some that have supported us and others that have caused harm. Together, we can begin to sort through those experiences and let go of what no longer serves you. I take a holistic approach, recognizing that we are more than just our minds, and I intentionally integrate the body and spirituality into the work. My background is in progressive Christianity, while remaining open and respectful of all spiritual paths. I believe people grow most effectively in relationship—with support, insight, and accountability guiding the process.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Doctor of Social Work candidate with over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s most demanding challenges. My practice focuses on building cognitive resilience, particularly for those facing high-stress environments, occupational burnout, or the complexities of managing mental health alongside physical wellness.
I utilize a goal-oriented approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Mindfulness, providing you with practical tools to reframe setbacks and regain a sense of balance. Whether you are a healthcare professional navigating compassion fatigue or an individual seeking clarity during a difficult transition, I am dedicated to helping you move from a state of being overwhelmed to one of empowerment and growth.
As a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in trauma therapy, I am committed to providing compassionate and culturally sensitive counseling to individuals, families and couples. With a deep understanding of the impact of trauma on mental health, I empower my clients to heal and thrive. I am aware how important insight into self is in order to grow.
Hi, I'm a therapist with over thirty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families and historically getting positive results. I tend to work with families with special members such as teens and seniors. I have always worked with teens as it seemed to be a population others found difficult, but I liked the challenge. Now that I am a senior, I better understand the needs of our demographic. I tend to utilize a Family Systems approach which sees the individual in a family context as the majority has grown up in some form of family, whether related by blood or not. I've also taught Marriage and Family Therapy through what is now Drexel University's Family Therapy Program and have offered professional Supervision as a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. By working with the client in a collaborative, goal setting manner, faster more positive results seem to be achieved.
Hi! My name is Emily. I am glad to meet you and share a little about myself. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 10 years. In college, I focused on mental health and working with diverse populations. I currently reside in the Pittsburgh area, but I originated from North Carolina.

I enjoy helping adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns to identify strategies that allow them to manage and/or overcome these concerns. I tend to use an eclectic mix of person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients. I also have been trained in mindfulness to assist my clients.
I also understand the difficulties one might face related to the current societal climate as it relates to LGBTQ+ population and race. I believe it is important for clients to have a safe space to share
the microaggressions, discrimination, and/or hate that one may face. I believe that I can be that safe space for all individuals.
In my free-time, I am enjoy spending time with my family. During this time, we like to do things outdoors, such as playing pickleball, hiking, paddleboarding, or just relaxing.
You’ve been holding a lot together—and it’s getting harder to keep it that way. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions - but my focus often extends beyond a single diagnosis. I also support complex mental health, including dissociative identity and schizophrenia. I am especially mindful of stressors such as navigating the challenges of a loved one living with hoarding disorder, carrying loss connected to COVID, and layered intercultural or blended family dynamics.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health. Over the years I’ve worked in many roles — including supervision, leadership, and training — but what I value most is sitting down with people and helping them make sense of their lives.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of North and South Carolina. I graduated from Liberty University in 2013. My approach to counseling is very eclectic and person-centered. I have experience in the utilization of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy (FT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and I also assist clients with implementing forms of meditation into their daily lifestyle. I aim to empower each person I am allowed to serve, and to assist them with understanding that each person can heal, cope, and/or adapt despite life's challenges. The power to create change is within each one of us, and my job is to assist you with that process.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered to reclaim their stories. I draw from narrative, attachment-based, and experiential approaches to support clients in understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, and building more secure, fulfilling relationships. My style is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s resilience, identity, and capacity for growth.
As a second-career social worker, I bring both professional experience and real-world perspective into the therapy space. My background includes working as an Older Adult Protective Services Investigator, a Home Health Care Social Worker, a mentor to college-aged individuals, and currently supporting Veterans experiencing homelessness who are navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, trauma, and substance use.
I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Outside of work, I enjoy playing music, spending time with family and friends, and being in nature. I value practices that help people reconnect with themselves, find balance, and build resilience in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.
Hello, I’m Colleen.
Does it feel as if you are giving more energy than you have or that there are too many things and not enough mental energy to juggle all those tasks? Are you finding that your relationships are strained or that keeping up with friends and loved ones seems like an unsurmountable task? Do you find it difficult to give yourself grace and empathy?
I am looking to work with young professionals and adults to help manage anxiety, burnout, depression, and the stressors that come with living in a chaotic world. Together, we can identify the issues that you are facing, discuss how best to manage these feelings and stressors and find a way to make your routine and relationships work with you instead of against you. I have weekend availability to help fit therapy into your busy schedule.
I have worked in the hospital setting for seven years now and feel very comfortable talking with medical professionals about the particularly difficult strains that a career in medicine puts on individuals. Whether it is dealing with the mental load and stress of being a resident, the emotional labor done as a nurse, or the burnout that all individuals in this profession face, I am here to listen and provide non-judgmental feedback to help you manage such a demanding career.
Anxiety, depression, and strained relationships can feel overwhelming and unsurmountable alone, but I’m here to help. In our sessions, I hope to provide a place where you feel safe, and somewhere we can work together to make a plan to make any stressors that you are dealing with manageable. I look forward to working with you.
I have 32 years of experience providing counseling. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, stressing that what we think determines what we feel and what we do. For many reasons, people learn unrealistic or destructive thoughts that cause them problems in their lives. Therapy works towards more realistic thinking, and avoiding old and destructive thinking. As I like to say, "therapy is a conversation with a destination," and realistic thinking is that destination.
While I am a Christian, I am not trained as a Christian Counselor. I am a "Counselor who is a Christian." My training is secular, and I regularly see people or all faiths, or none at all. I do not offer court ordered services, nor do I do assessments for custody, or any other legal purpose. Unfortunately, I cannot accept Medicare, or Medicare based plans.
The world is changing, and more and more people are reaching out. I am seeing more men that have been in abusive relationships. There are also more people dealing with loss. Coming to my office is not like going to a big mental health clinic where you just another number on a spreadsheet. In my care, you are a person, and you'll be treated like one.
Hello! My name is Zach Soohy. I am a PA licensed mental health counselor and have worked with clients in several mental health fields for the last 9 years. I own, operate, and counsel through my own LLC practice (Forged Through Adversity LLC) that specializes in helping clients work through trauma, abuse, grief, ADHD, and self-worth/self-esteem issues, though I also have worked with many other kinds of mental health and addiction-based issues as well. I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families create meaningful, lasting change—especially during some of the most challenging and complex moments in their lives. My work is rooted in the belief that behavior makes sense when we understand the experiences behind it, and that real progress comes from addressing both the “why” and the “how” of change.
I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and families who are navigating trauma, behavioral concerns, and system involvement. Many of the clients I serve have experienced disruptions in attachment, high-stress environments, or significant life events that continue to impact their relationships, emotional well-being, and decision-making.
My approach is structured, active, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, EMDR, and DBT. I focus on helping clients build insight into their patterns while also developing practical skills they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy should not only be a place to process experiences, but also a space to build tools, accountability, and confidence.
I work to create a therapeutic environment that is consistent, supportive, and honest. I balance compassion with clear expectations, helping clients feel understood while also challenging them to grow. Whether I am working with an individual or an entire family system, my goal is to strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and support long-term stability.
At Velocity Counseling, the focus is on forward movement—helping clients move beyond survival mode and toward a more stable, connected, and purposeful life.

Hi there! I’m Sarah :) Congratulations at taking the first step in reaching out to a counselor. I can understand how difficult it can be for some to make that decision. It can be hard to admit when someone feels like they need additional help in their lives to get things moving in a positive direction. It's important to recognize that this is not a flaw, and that teamwork is sometimes the best solution for an issue. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is very important and that you need to feel comfortable with someone to open up and trust. I would be honored to be a part of your journey to help you find your desired goals.
Hello and welcome! My name is Kate, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, alcohol use disorder, and life transitions.
