About me

Hi, I'm Coreen! Are you struggling to manage stress? Are your relationships suffering? Do you feel disconnected from yourself? I will help you explore your core identity and values as you work toward building the life you want. Together we will determine what is and is not working for you - mind, body, and spirit. We will also work on building new skills along the way. I practice with a humanistic, relational lens, working to build trust in an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment and support you in setting individualized goals to meet your needs. I believe in the importance of self-compassion in fueling personal growth and will work hard to assist you in embodying your true self.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will complete an intake interview that will allow us the space to identify the issues you would like to address in therapy. During this time, we will discuss your history and all areas in your life to begin to build an understanding of your whole self. There will also be space for you to ask me questions and determine what is important for you to address in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a great deal of experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma. We will work on processing this trauma and ultimately moving forward, bringing your fractured self together to create the whole. I also work with individuals with concerns related to gender, sex, and sexuality. This includes individuals with queer and trans identities, sexual behavior and desire, kink, monogamous and non-monogamous relationships, problematic sexual fantasies and behaviors, and help you process your feelings and values related to gender, sex, and sexuality. I also work with clients who are looking for an outlet and support for life stressors such as burnout, feeling overwhelmed, discrimination, conflict, reassessing your relationship to substances, and executive functioning.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

individuals, LGBTQIA+, trauma survivors, kink, individuals convicted of sexual offenses or interpersonal violence, formerly incarcerated people
