I help professionals in recovery who are carrying more than anyone realizes. Many of my clients are high-achieving people who have spent years holding everything together on the outside while privately struggling with alcohol, substances, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, or burnout. They’re people who have been depended on—at home, at work, and in their families—and they’re tired of performing, hiding, or white-knuckling their way through life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in addiction recovery, trauma, and life transitions, I bring a grounded, practical, and compassionate approach. My work is deeply influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values-based living, and helping clients build a life that feels aligned rather than pressured or chaotic.
I understand that asking for help—especially as a professional—comes with unique challenges: reputation concerns, workplace stress, perfectionism, shame, fear of consequences, and relationships strained by years of coping alone. My role is not to judge or lecture, but to offer a private, steady space where you can talk openly, regain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more peaceful life.
Whether you’re navigating early sobriety, long-term recovery, career demands, relationship stress, or a sense that you’ve lost yourself, I’m here to walk with you—not as an authority figure, but as someone who respects the courage it takes to show up.
If you’re ready for therapy that’s confidential, respectful, and tailored to the realities of being a professional in recovery, I’d be honored to support you.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Dr. Carl Rogers
My own ADHD diagnosis at age 30 was life altering, and continues to fuel my compassion for neurodivergent clients struggling to figure themselves out.
I also love empowering clients to strengthen their relationships, have more empathy for themselves and others, and discover what calm contentment means to them and how to achieve it.
Isn't it annoying when we have thoughts that we KNOW are not rational, but our mind says "oh well" and causes us to worry about it anyway? I get how annoying that can be, and I want to help you manage those worries! How about feeling as though you have nothing to look forward to or you can't get rid of that dark cloud hovering over your head? I can help you with that too! Do you still find yourself not being able to move on from that traumatic event you experienced? I am here to help!
I offer a very person-centered approach to therapy. I want you to have as much control and say over your treatment as possible. If it's important to you that we talk about it, it's important to me!

Hi There, Perrin here, If you are reading this short bio, I want to first congratulate you on the first step towards self discovery. I was born in The Bronx, NY which has inducted me naturally into a world that did not always make sense. I am mixed with African American and Native American heritage so this has allowed me to be both culturally sensitive as well as unbiased towards the human experience. I have a great appreciation for humanity which has led me to this field and assisting individuals in recognizing their innate abilities to push through tough challenges is my most treasured goal. My practice embodies the three core processes I have concluded to be effective during my 13 years of experience. These processes are; explore, grow, and maintain and through these processes, individuals will understand and explore where they have come from, growing through their experiences, and using the skills along the way in maintaining effective change.

I am a therapist that has worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, recovery from substance abuse and I am passionate about helping people heal. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and certified yoga teacher. I believe there’s a strong connection between our body and our minds and our coping skills lying between.
When we experience loss, unwanted change, or trauma it can shake our foundations and lead to pain, confusion, and heartache. While we can't prevent life from happening or undo what we've been through, my practice is based on a deeply held belief in the ability for all of us to heal and resume living with meaning and purpose. Recognizing where you're feeling blocked, stuck, or hurt will inform where we focus our efforts. Granting ourselves full permission to feel and express the depth of our feelings is instrumental to healing and growth.
My role is to bear witness to your experience while offering support and encouragement as you recognize and process your feelings. Through curiosity, presence, and attunement I seek to facilitate individual's getting back to living through effectively addressing, expelling, and moving past what has caused pain.
Owning how we feel without asking for permission, learning how to internally validate ourselves, and developing self regulation strategies will help when we experience intense challenges. We can learn to change our narratives and work towards unconditional self love and acceptance. Please trust yourself and your wisdom when doing healing work.

Welcome!
I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist with extensive experience helping clients navigate some of life’s most challenging struggles. My areas of specialty include substance use disorders, process addictions, eating disorders, and trauma. I also have a strong background working with first responders, military service members, and their families, understanding the unique stressors, cultural dynamics, and mental health challenges.
I approach therapy with a client-centered and individualized perspective. I understand that no two journeys are the same, and I work collaboratively to create a safe, supportive space. My goal is to help you identify patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and gain insight into the underlying factors that may be influencing your behaviors and emotional responses.
In my work with substance use and process addictions, I focus on helping clients build resilience, identify triggers, and strengthen tools for relapse prevention. When supporting clients with eating disorders, I combine compassionate support with evidence-based interventions to address both the physical and psychological aspects of recovery. I also specialize in trauma-focused care, helping individuals process painful experiences in a safe and structured way, reducing emotional distress, and building emotional regulation skills.
Working with first responders and military clients, I understand the high levels of stress, trauma exposure, and unique cultural factors that can impact mental health. I provide practical tools, psychoeducation, and coping strategies to support emotional well-being while honoring the unique identity and experiences of each client.
Whether you are seeking to process trauma, heal from addiction, manage anxiety or depression, or improve your overall well-being, I am here to guide you. Together, we can create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, fosters personal growth, and empowers you to live a more balanced and fulfilling life. You are not alone in this journey, and change is possible.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and complex relational and attachment wounds. My work is grounded in a nervous system awareness and a deeply relational approach that prioritizes safety, emotional truth, and meaningful change over symptom management alone.
Over the course of my career, including years in large healthcare systems and leadership roles, I witnessed how often well-intentioned treatment models fall short by focusing on compliance, pathology, or short-term stabilization rather than root causes. That experience fundamentally shaped how I practice today. I specialize in working with people who feel stuck, unseen, or disconnected from themselves and others, particularly those with long standing patterns rooted in developmental trauma, attachment injury, or chronic stress.
My clinical style is structured yet human, direct yet compassionate. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including IFS, ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic practices, with a strong emphasis on insight, integration, and real-world application. I also offer expanded states of consciousness psychotherapy where appropriate, always within an ethical, intentional, and integration-focused framework.
I believe effective therapy is not about changing who someone is. It is about helping them understand shaped them and their nervous system responses, reclaim agency, repair relationships with themselves and others, and live with greater clarity and integrity. My role is to provide a steady, grounded space where difficult truths can be explored safely and where meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.

Hello, I'm a licensed professional counselor based in Pennsylvania. I have worked in the counseling field for many years. I work from a framework of solution focused therapy but utilize many strategies and therapeutic techniques. Overall I strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance to make individuals feel comfortable in sharing the struggles that have brought them to therapy, and in realizing they deserve the assistance that will help them flourish and obtain the things in life they are striving for.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania with 5 years of experience working with female survivors of trauma and abuse. My passion lies in helping women build healthy relationships, eliminate toxicity from their lives, boost self-esteem, and heal from the deep impacts of trauma. My goal is for every client to come to a deeper understanding of themselves, and to leave therapy with practical skills intended to support them in sustaining their progress long term.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years of experience. I really enjoy helping people navigate the challenges of changing and maintaining roles in life---exploring young adulthood, how to maintain your own identity as a parent, how to create a life worth living in whatever stage you are in. I feel like I am very open, non judgmental, eager to learn, empathetic and understanding. And funny!
I am a gender affirming therapist. I am an ally in the LGB and TNC Communities, always keeping my eyes and ears open to find ways to improve my allyship. The current political climate is traumatic and oppressive to members of these Communities. I want to create space in session to discuss how that may be affecting you or retraumatizing you. I am also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. I am comfortable providing documentation for medical transition.
I am very comfortable with working with those who use self harm as a coping mechanism--there is no shame or expectation you must stop when you engage in therapy. I'm fine with talking about suicide, whether it's your own personal experience of trying to find a life worth living, your experience of supporting someone who lives with suicide in their life, or grief around experiences of suicide. I do not believe inpatient hospitalization is an effective treatment for those experiencing suicide and do everything I can as a therapist to keep people out of the hospital when in suicidal crisis.
I do believe therapy is political. I am social justice focused, continuing to do my own anti-racism work. I believe in Health at Every Size. I believe that our environment and what we experience in life has a profound affect on us and must be discussed in therapy.
I would describe my style as validating, supportive, and down to earth. Clients often share that they feel comfortable being their authentic selves with me, which is one of my highest priorities in the therapy space. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience, creating a balance of humility and wisdom. While I don’t claim to know everything, I work hard to share what I’ve learned while remaining open and collaborative.
I view therapy as a relationship that parallels the important connections in your life. I will meet you where you are, get to know you on your terms, and walk alongside you as you move toward growth. My goal is to provide a safe environment where you feel respected, supported, and challenged to become the best version of yourself.

Do you feel like you are struggling to keep up with your relationships, your work, or your health? Sometimes when this happens, we tend to blame the person in the mirror. Fortunately, I am here to help you get over that hump.
I strive to help you manage anxiety and avoid burnout. My goal is to help work together with you, and identify what is working well, and not so well, and help you find that balance you and so many others are looking for. I consider myself to be very adaptable to my clients, and work to find what works best specifically for you! I would also like to assure you, that you are not the only one feeling this way!
Whether you are overwhelmed, having relationship issues, dealing with trauma, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I am here to help. If you are having trouble with your children, and are seeking input and new techniques, I would be glad to assist you. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but this is the first step towards making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I will meet you with empathy and compassion in a judgment-free zone, working with evidence-based techniques to help you overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. Let us work together!
