I’m Dr. Demetria Buie, a licensed clinical social worker and therapist dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with their sense of self. My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and cultural awareness, with a focus on empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues of identity, self-worth, and life transitions. My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a holistic understanding of mind, body, and spirit to create meaningful and lasting change.
Welcome!
My name is Kalyn and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Delaware, with a Master of Science in Human Development from Virginia Tech. While my background is rooted in marriage and family therapy, my current practice focuses entirely on working with individuals. I am not accepting new couples or joint therapy clients at this time.
As an LMFT, I specialize in using a systemic, relational lens to help individual adults navigate relationship issues, communication challenges, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and personal boundaries. I help clients explore how their relational patterns, history, and environment impact their current well-being—giving you dedicated space to do deep relational work individually.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and supportive therapy to create an open, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your emotions and build practical tools for lasting change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in North Carolina, Ohio, and Alabama. I earned my Master of Social Work degree through the Joint Program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University and have spent the past 15 years working in a variety of mental health settings.
As a biracial and bicultural woman of White and Native American heritage and an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, I understand the importance of culture, identity, belonging, and lived experience in the healing process.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family conflict, grief, loss, and caregiver burnout. I also have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, including individuals recovering from unhealthy relationships, emotional abuse, religious trauma and domestic violence. While I enjoy working with adults from all backgrounds, I am especially passionate about supporting women as they build confidence, strengthen boundaries, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many clients tell me they appreciate my conversational, down-to-earth style. While therapy can involve discussing difficult topics, I also believe healing can include moments of humor, self-discovery, and recognizing your strengths along the way. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, processing trauma, navigating a major life transition, or working to create healthier relationships, you do not have to face it alone.
I am committed to providing affirming care for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, bicultural/biracial, neurodivergent, ability-diverse, and those from underrepresented communities.

Hi, I'm William.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) trained to help people find solutions to their problems and concerns. I received my Masters in Social Work from East Carolina University and I have experience working with all ages.
Do you feel the pressure of career, family, children and a world full of tremendous change? I am here to help you maneuver what can seem like a complex maze. Each of us has the power to grow and face challenges and sometimes we just need someone to listen and help us find the right direction.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I love to work with all types of people to help them live and achieve their best life. Seeking and receiving therapy can be scary for some people. But it doesn't have to be scary. Therapy should be your time to enter a place where you will feel safe and respected to share your deepest thoughts and desires. Together we will work to help you achieve your goals.
Hello, my name is Stephen Pleasant, and I'm a psychotherapist for men. Why therapy for men? Well, because sometimes a man just needs a pork shoulder to cry on. That being said, I will also work with women as well.
It’s a recognized human tendency for men to get “stuck” in their lives and to end up “settling” for the status quo when deep down they know they are capable of a great deal more. Here’s the truth; You are never “stuck” with your present circumstances.
The Game of Life is a psychological and spiritual journey and winning at this game requires you to change your play and learn to think differently and do things in a new way.
I help men break out from being “stuck” in life, resigned to producing results that are disappointing to them and others. My goal is to see transformative progress in men’s confidence, clarity, and self-expression, so that they may gain the fuller personal and work life they thought was beyond them.
Hello, and welcome! My name is Alexis Barnes-Scott, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 12 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. I earned my degree from East Carolina University and have dedicated my career to supporting clients as they build healthier relationships and create meaningful, lasting change.
My areas of specialization include relational concerns, trauma, women's issues, and the management of stress and anxiety. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our beloved 15-year-old dog, Bella, and my 1-year-old dog, Jackson.
I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.
You can come back from anything no matter how bad you think the situation is. It is all about your mindset. Reprogramming your mindset is the key to your success. The power of change rest in your desire to want change. I believe that people have the power to change their circumstances within themselves by changing their thought pattern first. Reprogramming your mindset is the key to your success.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
I am a bilingual clinical social worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of trauma, depression, and anxiety. My practice is built on a fundamental belief: you possess the internal power to reflect on your life, understand yourself from new perspectives, and integrate meaningful changes.
With a deep clinical background in PTSD, domestic violence, and sexual assault, I provide a survivor-centered space that prioritizes your safety and agency. I am also passionate about psychedelic-assisted therapy and am trained in harm reduction and integration, offering a grounded, non-judgmental approach to processing non-ordinary states of consciousness.
I work using person-centered, feminist, and anti-racist frameworks, meaning I recognize that your individual challenges are often inextricably linked to the systems you live within.

Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware people who understand what they *should* be doing but still find themselves struggling to change patterns that aren't working for them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should give you a safe place to be heard and understood, while also helping you gain new perspectives and develop tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of North Carolina. I received my Masters degree from Arizona State University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I believe that working together in a safe, non-judgmental environment can create space for the healing you deserve.
In my early career I worked with Child Protective Services to support the reunification of children with their biological parents. I then moved to North Carolina to continue work with keeping families together that had suffered trauma and/or behavioral issues. From there, I worked as an individual therapist working with teenagers and adults. During that time, I led groups that focused on education for women who experienced anxiety on a daily basis. Prior to the Grow Therapy platform, I worked to support adults in crisis who needed immediate psychiatric support.
Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. We can't change difficult situations of the past, but we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.
Hello! I’m Elsie Henderson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Therapist and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate. My practice is built on creating a warm, supportive, and judgment‑free space where clients can explore their experiences with honesty and confidence. I take an integrative approach that blends cognitive behavioral strategies with emotional and spiritual wellness, and I also offer Christian counseling for clients who prefer a faith‑based perspective. Whether working with individuals or couples, my focus is on helping people strengthen their relationships, deepen their sense of purpose, and move toward lasting, meaningful change.
On paper, your life may look like it’s together. You show up for work, take care of the people around you, and handle your responsibilities. But underneath that, you may be carrying anxiety, burnout, loneliness, relationship stress, or the constant pressure to keep it all together.
If you’ve spent years being “the strong one,” therapy can feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have all the answers, or pretend you’re okay.
My style is warm, conversational, and direct. I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together we’ll build practical tools, increase insight, and create meaningful change that extends beyond our sessions.
I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, boundaries, dating and relationships, family dynamics, burnout, and major life transitions. I serve clients throughout North Carolina and Illinois via secure telehealth.

Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) in the state of North Carolina. I received a master's degree in counseling, along with a graduate certificate in substance abuse counseling, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2010.
While in graduate school, I decided to specialize in Motivational Interviewing (MI) when I discovered how well the “spirit of MI” (partnership, acceptance, compassion, and empowerment) fit with my perception of how we change and grow. Since then, I have had the opportunity to participate in several advanced MI training workshops facilitated by some of the originators of this powerful approach to facilitating change.
By incorporating the components mentioned above into our counseling relationship, along with a wide variety of evidence-based approaches as needed, a collaboration is created where we work as a team to identify and build on your strengths, restructure any self-limiting beliefs, increase confidence, and progress towards the accomplishment of your goals.
I started my private practice soon after graduation and have had the privilege of being part of the change process in countless lives over the past 14 years.
Hi, I’m Michelle. If you feel overwhelmed, disorganized, stuck in procrastination, or frustrated that everyday tasks seem harder than they should, you’re not alone, and you’re not lazy or broken.
I specialize in helping adults with ADHD, including those who are newly diagnosed, have lived with ADHD for years, or are beginning to wonder whether ADHD may explain some of their struggles. Together, we explore how ADHD may affect the way you think, feel, function, relate to others, and navigate everyday life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, psychoeducation, and executive-functioning support to help reduce shame, increase self-understanding, and build practical tools that fit your life and the way your brain works. When appropriate, I may also incorporate EMDR to address distressing experiences, chronic shame, or negative beliefs that have developed through years of criticism, rejection, or feeling misunderstood.
My work is also shaped by personal experience with ADHD, which has provided additional perspective alongside my professional training. This combination allows me to approach clients with both clinical expertise and an appreciation for the nuanced ways ADHD can affect daily life.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, capable, and supported in creating a life that works with your brain rather than against it. For clients who would like to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also offer Christian counseling in a supportive and natural way.
